★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1We love Jill and her studio!! I have young kids just starting to dance. Jill truly cares about the kids and encourages their progress. She is so patient and fun, my kids love her! The classes are reasonably priced and I love the atmosphere/community. It’s very laid back and accepting of everyone, wherever you come from. Learning to dance here truly feels like a celebration of movement and learning, rather than anything competitive, which is perfect for building confidence in children. I hope I can make time to enroll in some of the adult classes!
October 24 · Rachel RydalchI love A Common Ground! I have taken tap classes, African dance classes, ballroom dance and yoga classes. The classes are reasonably priced (if not cheaper than other studios in the area!) I love seeing all the dancers at the studio! The energy is so uplifting and encouraging for all skills and age levels! I have also been to a few events such as open mics and the Bazzar Bazaar. Highly recommended! What a great asset to the Danbury Community!
January 29 · Meghan GallagherA Common Ground isn't the type of place that's just looking to take your money. It's truly a community! There's a variety of classes offered (to all age groups) which adequately represent the diversity that we have in Danbury and the surrounding area. I've been made to feel so welcome at every event/class I've attended.I'm a huge fan of the Winter Holiday Bazaar, among other annual events. (check out the coffee house)I think it's also important to note that the waiting area has cozy couches, rather than a wooden bench! I don't have any children but I imagine the books would be wonderful while trying to keep younger children entertained.
February 02 · rebecca salinoMy young daughter, walks a little taller and has found her voice thanks in part to the wonderful and more importantly, caring teachers at A Common Ground. Besides offering core dance classes: Ballet,Jazz and Tap, there are Hula, Hip Hop, Fitness, and to round out the array Acting and Voice lessons. In addition, the studio holds Danbury Art in Action's monthly Coffee House, which showcases local artists and supports the Arts in the greater Danbury area. A Common Ground is a beautiful asset to our community. 🎭
February 02 · Gayle FernandezI've been going to events and taking classes at A Common Ground for several years. The atmosphere is always welcoming and Jill, Althea, and the bunch are all phenomenal teachers. This place is truly an asset to Danbury.
