★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I’ve been attending adagios barre class on and off for the last 9 years and still get sore every time I go. Rachel always keeps the class interesting and fun. August 31 · Amanda WeygandI really dont understand why this place has such great reviews. I know of AT LEAST 6 kids that quit Adagio to attend another studio last fall. Kids that aren't in competition should not be treated like they have to be perfect. Dance should be fun, not extremely strict. I get they want to look good but they take it too far. They only allow their favorites in competition even if they are awful. They say you have to put adagio above your other activities otherwise they don't allow you to be invited to compete. I know of one dancer that missed plenty of class for her other activity and stared at the other kids during their performances, yet got invited to join the team. The teachers and owner are stuck up and kids are expected to be serious 24/7. Avoid this place at all costs.
February 22 · Chelsea AdamsSuch a great studio! Highly qualified instructors. They offer everything you could imagine. Parents, students and staff function as a family! Couldn’t be more happy or impressed! So glad we found Adagio School of Performing Arts! Highly recommend to anyone!
August 10 · Megan DeveraI grew up with Rachel and have always had incredible respect for her skill and knowledge of dance and performance. I just recently started attending the barre class she offers through the studio and it's absolutely incredible! I'll be honest, it's probably the hardest thing I've ever done in my entire life but there's something about it that keeps me coming back! It's probably the fact that I've made a lot of really great friends there and we have so much fun but it's incredibly challenging which is the point! Highly recommend!!!
May 11 · Andrea McConvilleI can't say enough about my dance experience here. Nothing can compare to what I learned at the studio. And I'm certainly no professional dancer. Dance, especially at Adagio, taught me to respect and love my body when my peers were too hard on themselves for physical "flaws". I learned hard work. I learned healthy ways of channeling emotion, and maybe most importantly I learned to build other women up instead of tearing them down. All of which is why my girls will be Adagio dancers very soon 💜
