★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Gethsemane Full Gospel Church had the pleasure of showcasing Ade Jembe Fola Dance and Drum at our BlackHis-Story program last month and they were phenomenal. From the beginning (they told me they would be there at 4:30 pm to practice in the sanctuary and every single performer was there on time!) to the very end (not one performer left the program before it ended - they remained the entire time and joyously participated along with the congregation!) they were consummate professionals. Baba Kasumu has done a remarkable job of working with and training this fantastic group of young people in this beautiful African art. They were courteous, mature and respectful. Several weeks have passed and the church members are still talking about them. Thank you for blessing us with your gift!Praying God continues to bless all of you!
March 17 · DeAnna EasonThis program has been wonderful, it has been very inclusive of all students. I have 2 students who are parts of the STARS program who have been welcomed and embraced within this program at City Honors School. These students are always excited and eager to share what they are doing and look forward to their performances to show off how hard they have been working. Keep up the good work!
