★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Alabama Dance Academy has been a wonderful studio for my girls. They have taken dance there for years and absolutely love it. The instructors are wonderful and truly teach because they love dance. They offer all genres of dance and if your child is interested in learning the art of ballet then this is the studio for you. The ballet training is of the highest quality. Also, the students are given a lot of opportunities to dance throughout the year. Their annual Nutcracker performance becomes the most amazing holiday tradition. We are very thankful for Alabama Dance Academy.
September 04 · Cara DombourianFabulous dance school! Excellent staff teaching a wide variety of classes. The students learn a lot, work hard, and have fun - all of which show in their performances throughout the year. It is amazing to see the growth every time they take the stage!
September 03 · Rosa HMy daughter is taking from Alabama Dance Academy and we are in our 5th year now. What I love about ADA is the instruction each dancer receives. The teachers know how to build a beautiful dancer. My daughter takes ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, and hip hop. I feel the instruction in all areas is excellent but the area I’m most impressed with is in ballet instruction. The teachers at ADA have the experience and knowledge to know what each dancer needs in order to be her best self. When my daughter got her first pair of pointe shoes this past February I was amazed at how well they had prepared her for them. All the proper muscles had been strengthened and Ms. Pam even fitted the girls who were ready for their pointe shoes herself to be sure the shoes were a perfect fit.Another thing I love about Alabama Dance Academy are the performance experiences the girls are able to have. ADA offers a winter show, a Nutcracker performance (which is actually performed by the dancers at ADA instead of by an adult ballet company like many studios use for all the main roles), a spring show, and an end of year recital. Girls who audition for the company have the possibility of the opportunity to perform at UBC and YAGP which are international competitions (I like to call them the Olympics of Dance) :)Lastly, the thing I love about ADA is the close friendships that are formed there. My daughter calls her peers at Alabama Dance Academy her “dance family”.Because of all the reasons above- and more- I highly recommend ADA for any person desiring dance lessons. 🩰
