However, the core of what AFDA offers—a strong focus on technique, a nurturing environment, and a dedicated staff—is consistently praised. The review also acknowledges that the people are "Good" and that the academy is "similar to other dance academies" in a positive way. Ann Freeman Dance Academy Reviews
studio
★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1A wonderful studio that focuses on technique first as well as classroom etiquette, performance opportunities and more! At AFDA we are a dance family!
August 22 · Cookie SamworthGiving 3 stars only because it’s similar to other dance academies my girls have been too. Good people but not very organized. My youngest had to sit for a very long time waiting on others to get done with their rehearsal first, Instead of just having parents for different groups have assigned times. During some of those dances she had to sit by herself in the back because she was not in the advanced class with nothing to do. No warning to the parents, Again something I seen at other dance academies and not sure why they cant group kids together better or assign times for rehearsals/recitals so kids don’t have to sit for hours waiting for their turn.
May 06 · JamesTook my daughter here for ballet/tap class. And she loved her class and her teacher! Even though of the events of covid-19 they have been doing the best they can with resuming classes online, and rescheduling their recitals! They are responsibly priced and friendly staff that will answer all your questions. I highly recommend this dance studio for your child!
May 26 · Sara RichLove this place! Amazing teachers and the children actually learn proper words, movements, and techniques.
January 26 · Stephanie ReevesI thought about going here cuz I always wanted to learn how to do the moonwalk I've been told I got two left feet but at least I got a brand new pair of work boots to wear on them
