My husband and I took dance lessons here for our wedding and we highly recommend it. We do not consider ourselves "good dancers" and our main goal was just to not look silly; but thanks to Arthur Murray, our first dance was a showstopper! The instructors are kind and encouraging and make it a comfortable and fun experience!

My husband and I came to Arthur Murray Burlington for some help putting together a waltz for our wedding. The staff is very friendly and they were able to work with us to schedule weekly and sometimes even doubling up our lessons due to our busy schedule. Neither of us are foreign to the concept of dance so for us, the staff did a great job. At first, we noticed were were getting 2 different instructors which was a bit tough so we asked to stick to just 1 to keep the style of teaching consistent. The team even helped us cut our song a bit which was so nice of them. The lessons were done in the ballroom while others were practicing as well so we would have to wait our turn to play our song to practice and the lessons were not necessarily inexpensive so that would be my only feedback: if there was an option or fee to have them private. Otherwise, we had a great time, felt very welcome, and could even feel how excited the team was for us to perform our dance during our wedding!

My husband and I took lessons to prepare for our wedding and we are so happy we chose to do lessons at this studio. We especially appreciated the team members and the way they put us at ease from the beginning. The instructors we worked with are so genuine, patient, kind and dedicated to their crafts! We were very unfamiliar dancing together and they make the process easy and the learning manageable. They were open-minded and considerate of what we were envisioning and wanted to get us there. One thing that was a little difficult was taking our first lesson on a very busy day with lots of different couples on the dance floor and music going at once. I would recommend asking the studio manager for a private lesson dance time that is at a more quiet and less crowded time of day if you are prone to overwhelm. It wasn’t a problem for us after and all of our other lessons were more private and we were able to practice to our music with plenty of space so we felt very lucky. I would highly recommend starting private dance lessons for a first dance or any occasion! The instructors are so knowledgeable and have a wealth of experience at their disposal. They gave us everything we could hope to get out of the process and got us confident in our dance. We hope to continue learning from and dancing with the wonderful people here.
