★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1We have been at both lake Nona and Winter Park Bella Balerina for over 2 years now and have had nothing but a wonderful experience at this ballet studio! The space is always spotless—no bugs, no strange odors, and everything is kept in great condition. Most importantly, my child has never gotten sick from attending, which really speaks to how clean and well-maintained the environment is. My daughter LOVES going to dance class and looks forward to it every week!! The instructors are kind, professional, and truly care about each dancer’s progress! Highly recommend for any parent looking for a safe, clean, and encouraging place for their child to learn ballet through story book dance!!! ♥️
May 06 · Cheryl WoolfI highly recommend Bella Ballerina! It truly brings every little girl’s dream of dancing like a ballerina to life through imaginative play and fun props. The program introduces basic dance techniques that lay the foundation for a bright future in dance. I’m incredibly grateful for the experience. The teachers go above and beyond to ensure each child has the best time possible.
May 08 · Alba RamosBella Ballerina’s Winter Park location is okay, but their Lake Nona studio has filthy floors that caused my daughter to break out into hives. Prior to this I was tired of my toddler always leaving her classes covered in black dirt from the floors, and I addressed this multiple times with staff and management. Their responses were always a combination of saying that they will address this, but mostly excuses blaming the type of flooring, tap shoes and their inadequate cleaning equipment. At one point a teacher even told me that her mop was stolen and that she too noticed her students were being covered in dirt. From my understanding they don’t have any maintenance and rely on the teachers to clean the floors which doesn’t happen often. On the last day that I took my daughter to class there in March, I noticed that she was especially covered in dirt, and that the benches had shoe marks all over them. Within a few hours, my daughter started breaking out into hives that I had to take her to urgent care for. At this point I knew I had to pull my daughter out of classes there for her health. After speaking to another mom, she told me that she and other parents have also noticed the dirty floors, and that she recently even saw a roach there. Addressing this with management didn’t help as I was told that cleanliness is their “upmost priority.” But just look at their posts on social media or go in and see for yourself how the floors at this location remain dirty.I would not recommend Bella Ballerina Lake Nona, especially for anyone who has concerns about their children’s health when it comes to asthma and allergies.
April 29 · Jenny MalagonWe recently submitted a cancellation request for my daughter’s dance enrollment on July 2nd, and followed their procedure by filling out their official form on July 3rd. Despite giving clear and timely notice, we were still billed for another full month just two days later — and told we would be charged again on July 21st due to a “30-day cancellation policy.”The email I received in response was filled with bolded phrases and all-caps words that came off as unnecessarily passive aggressive, especially for a message sent at 10:37pm on a Sunday night. I understand having policies in place, but the tone and handling of the situation made it feel very one-sided and inflexible. We acted in good faith to cancel ahead of the next billing cycle, and now we’re being charged for classes we don’t plan to attend — with no option for prorating or compromise. As a parent and customer, I would expect more understanding and professionalism, especially from a place that works with children and families. If you’re considering enrolling your child here, be sure to read every single line of fine print — including their strict cancellation policy that doesn’t allow any exceptions, even when notice is given before the next billing.
July 06 · Emily CI love going to classes here. My daughter is 2 and I wanted to find some outside activity that gets her exposed to other kids and adults. She started off so shy and only waning to be carried by me and now she is enjoying herself and I don't have to pick her up once! Ms. Aspen is really sweet with my daughter and patient with her. The dances are super cute and really help her with her motor skills.
