Bronx House Inc. Introduce
For over a century, Bronx House Inc. has stood as a pillar of the community, serving as the first and longest-running community center of its kind in the Bronx. This institution is more than just a building; it is a vibrant hub that enriches the lives of over 12,000 New York residents each year, from toddlers to centenarians. Bronx House is a place where social, educational, sports, cultural, and recreational opportunities are offered seven days a week, fostering a strong sense of community and personal growth. Rooted in Jewish communal values and traditions, the center welcomes and serves all people, regardless of background, providing a safe and inclusive space for everyone to thrive. It is a place where memories are made, skills are honed, and connections are forged, making it an essential resource for families and individuals throughout the borough.
The mission of Bronx House is to offer dynamic and meaningful programs that are truly transformative. The staff and leadership are dedicated to creating a positive and welcoming environment where every person can find something to engage with and enjoy. This commitment is reflected in the glowing reviews from community partners and patrons. One review from Magical Memories Entertainment, a company that hosted a foam party at the venue, praised the "incredible" energy and the "amazing Bronx House team for being so welcoming and organized." This kind of feedback highlights the center's ability to host seamless, high-energy events that leave a lasting impression on attendees. From large-scale community events to intimate classes, Bronx House excels at providing a top-tier experience.
However, it's worth noting that, like any large and dynamic organization, the center can face logistical challenges. A customer review regarding the swimming classes pointed out some disorganization and periods when the pool was closed, creating a "lapse in the swimming curriculum." While this is an important point to consider, it also demonstrates the center's scale and the variety of services it manages. The center is a busy and multi-faceted operation that is constantly working to improve its programs and services for the benefit of the community. For most residents, the sheer volume of opportunities and the overall positive atmosphere far outweigh any isolated issues, cementing Bronx House's reputation as a vital and beloved institution.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1We had an absolute blast bringing our foam party to Bronx House on behalf of Magical Memories Entertainment! The energy from the crowd was incredible, and the non-stop foam fun took the entire event to another level. From setup to the final foam blast, everything ran seamlessly, and the reactions from kids to adults, were truly priceless. It’s always a pleasure to partner with venues that are so committed to creating memorable experiences. A big thank you to the amazing Bronx House team for being so welcoming and organized. We’re already excited for the next one!
June 24 · Magical Memories EntertainmentIn regards to the swimming classes, I recommended you send your child to a different location. Bronx Houses’ location is convenient however it is very disorganized and in the past the pool was close for most of the winter which created a lapse in the swimming curriculum.I noticed that the pool was either closed or there was a high turnaround in swimming instructors.
July 24 · M MMy 8 year old had the best time at camp. He made new friends, tried new activities like archery and Gaga? idk what that game is, but he loved it! He came home happy and tired every day lol.
August 25 · Kacey CameronI actually agree with these bad reviews, staff is cold. Rude, not welcoming at all, literally will see you everyday and will not greet you. I don't understand how that's possible, for a place that promotes wellness. Pretty sad, I actually like the space. Not much the people.
March 11 · jullenne cunninghamVery annoying that there’s always a bunch of young kids messing around in the gym/ fitness center with equipment when others are trying to work out. It’s very inconsiderate for people who pay the very expensive gym membership.
