Brooklyn Dancesport Club Introduce
For anyone in New York City with a passion for dance, the Brooklyn Dancesport Club stands as a beacon of excellence and community. This isn't just any dance studio; it's a world-class institution founded by two of the most celebrated figures in ballroom and Latin dance, 11-time United States National Champions, Eugene Katsevman and Maria Manusova. What makes this dance hall so special is its unique ability to strike a perfect balance between high-level competitive training and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. It's a place where everyone, from a complete beginner to a seasoned professional, feels encouraged, challenged, and truly cared for.
The core of the Brooklyn Dancesport Club's appeal lies in the unmatched expertise of its founders and instructors. Eugene and Maria, who were among the top Latin dancers of their generation, have created a studio where their profound knowledge and passion are evident in every detail. As one long-time student shared, "I’ve been part of Brooklyn DanceSport Club for about 13 years now, and I can confidently say there is no other studio like it... Their knowledge, passion, and dedication are unmatched." Knowing that you are learning from some of the best in the world is incredibly motivating, and this level of instruction attracts a diverse group of dancers from all over the tri-state area.
The club's commitment to its students goes beyond the dance floor. The owners, Eugene and Maria, are praised for prioritizing their students' experiences, whether it's through a showcase, a competition, or a dance camp. This dedication fosters a supportive community where students feel like they are part of a family. This supportive environment is also perfect for couples, as one reviewer mentioned that dancing at the studio "became an essential part of our married life." It's a place where dance can strengthen bonds and provide a fulfilling shared hobby. The club is well-regarded for being "good for kids" as well, offering a structured yet encouraging environment for young dancers to grow and develop their skills.
In addition to their in-person classes, the Brooklyn Dancesport Club offers an online dance academy, which provides a wealth of resources and opportunities for dancers to learn from anywhere. This online platform includes 24-hour access to a comprehensive library of dance resources, live master classes, and workshops, making it a flexible and convenient option for those with busy schedules. This modern approach to dance education demonstrates the studio's commitment to innovation and accessibility, ensuring their high-quality instruction is available to a broader audience.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1My wife and I have been studying there for five years now. Our dance teacher Liliya is simply amazing. We’ve been going out dancing all the time now. In clubs, restaurants, and weddings. It became an essential part of our married life (28 years now) . Strongly recommend couples do that.

May 07 · TANYA USABrooklyn Dancesport Club- The LA Edition is the dance studio I've been looking for during my whole dance career. It is THE gold star of ballroom dance studios with a huge, seamless, cushioned wood floor, lots of areas to stretch and warmup, an amazing sound system, lots of mirrors, and some of the best coaches in the US (and perhaps the world). Competitive dancers, social dancers, new dancers, intermediate dancers, whatever level you are, you've found your new dance home! The space is in a converted warehouse so when you dance there, it feels like you have infinite space and freedom to fill with your movement. This dance studio is created by dancers for dancers. Also there's a smaller room that can be rented out for private shoots, workshops, lectures by the hour, and the events don't have to be dance related (yoga, meditation, etc.). Parking is free and easy (so rare in LA!).
June 02 · Sirinda SA great place to grow your confidence and dance skills! My girl loves coming here every single day. 🏆
