What is worth choosing
For Florida families seeking a dance hall for their children, Callahan Dance Academy presents a compelling choice, especially now under new ownership. The most significant reason to choose this studio is its renewed dedication to creating a positive and welcoming community. A common concern in a past review about an uninviting atmosphere has been addressed head-on, with new leadership and staff focused on making the studio a "top-notch" place with a "family atmosphere." The new ownership has a clear mission to provide a personal approach and tailor teaching methods to each student's needs, which is a stark contrast to a one-size-fits-all model. The new leadership is committed to fostering a supportive environment where students can not only learn dance but also "grow their dance knowledge and relationship with god," as one reviewer stated, which may be a meaningful benefit to local families. The academy's extensive class offeringsāfrom traditional ballet to high-energy hip hop and unique cloggingāmean that any child can find a style that speaks to them. The studioās long history is a testament to its staying power and relevance in the community, providing a sense of stability and trust. While some past reviews mentioned issues with class fees and viewing practices, it's crucial for prospective families to understand that the studio is now under new management, and these concerns may have been addressed as part of their new direction. For a family in the Callahan area looking for a dance studio that combines a long-standing legacy with a modern, caring, and community-focused approach, Callahan Dance Academy offers an inspiring place for children to learn and grow.

Callahan Dance Academy Reviews
Too expensive for 30 minutes of practice twice a week and tons of other fees. The dance outfits š¬ and need your own adjustments but still cost $70 per. I was shh'd for asking a question to the lady behind the desk (the lady behind the desk shh'd me but wasnt talking to them)while 2 people across the room were gossiping. Then later told I didn't pay my week when I did and wanted more money. Over hyped if your not in the little circle I guess.š¤·š»āāļø**I will say this was about 4yrs ago so from what I've heard it's under new owner**
June 03 Ā· Alicia SingletaryJust to let everybody know, they donāt let you watch your child when they are practicing they have a waiting room but once your child goes inside the practice room they close the door/blinds, I was told itās for the first few weeks then they open the blinds but thatās sketchy to me, specially when Iām always on alert to make sure my child is safe, also parking lot itās really small.
