★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1My daughter loves her experience and lasting relationships she has developed at DS33. She has been dancing since 2 and has became a fierce dancer at 6. With room to grow and improve DS33 is a healthy environment (building self esteem and character) for dancers of all ages to develop their own personal love for dance.
April 20 · Jenee ChalwellI had just called the studio inquiring on partnering and hosting my own dance classes, and teaching. Before I can finish asking questions inregards to, and asking how i would like to promote the studio on my website as featured business and supporting them in the community. I was then hung up on. Boy did I feel disrespected, so much so that I called back. I felt my heart rate increasing as if there had been a caffeine shot put directly into my veins and smoothly being swallowed.I had planned to tell the lady that it was very rude of her to hang up on me. It had seemed that she felt as if her saying to me "we don't do partnerships because we are subleasing/renting" and repeating it once more for the second time before she hung up on me. I did feel hurt me, frustrate, and salty like Pringle. 😋 yummy. I intuitively know that she felt that I was egotistical, and full of myself if u will based on how I was communicating out of accretive details and straightforward energy.I'm passionate about the art form of dance & Movement and teaching. I had just moved to Decatur which was exciting for me after missing the mark of being homeless. I see that the studio is down the street from my home and that made me feel more at home. I had struggled with emotional trauma and healed from alot by dancing and teaching. You should always be mindful of how you treat others because Karma is a queen and she believes in peace, justice, and integrity. Peace & one love 💕@madamj_walker
June 16 · Jas WalkerThe address is out of date on waze and google maps. The online class schedule is wrong. There is no signage outside or on the building. I was asked for a coupon for the offered single free trial class; the form to register doesn’t have a functioning submission button. The space itself is run down with a broken barre on the floor, no mirrors, trash etc. Parents wait in the overheated hallway. The class teacher didn’t ‘teach’ any technique. She ran through a series of moves to memorize with a song. The 2 classes listed online were merged into one, and all the other girls were much older. The teacher didn’t offer any help or praise to any of the students. My daughter couldn’t keep up, (she is 6) was quickly overwhelmed and began to cry and then sit in the corner. The teacher asked her from across the room if she was ok, and then continued on. The studio owner did come to check on her as I comforted her. We left.
October 26 · Suzi BoydenI have tried dancing at many studios but i never received service as great as theirs. You will really receive the best training here. I've danced here for many years and i couldn't have wished for a better experience.
November 27 · Sampa TurayGrand daughter attended Summer camp “American Girl dolls” and was so happy to attend for a week and just enjoyed the friends she gained. And just lived her teachers!
