★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Every dancer at some point always dreams to be a dancer at Dancers Corner. They are just a staple of the dance community. When our oldest asked to finish out her Junior & Senior year at Dancers Corner, we didn't know what to expect as although we had been in this "dance world" for 14 years we would still be the "newbies". Ms. Lisa, Whitney, Jack, and Staff have welcomed not only our daughter but our whole family in as though we have always been there. Our daughter has grown so much over the past 2 years not only as a dancer but as an individual. We could not be more pleased with our daughters time, instruction, and experience at Dancers Corner!
February 21 · Christine MckabaWe’ve been at Dancers Corner for 10 years. My daughter danced rec and is now on company. We’ve had a great experience at every level. The teachers care about the dancers as if they are their own children. We’ve made life long friends at DC and my daughter has found a love for dance. She’s grown so much as a dancer and a person from her experiences at DC. We highly recommend DC for any age and level of dancer.
May 15 · Jaime LarkinMy daughter has been with DC for 3 years now and has loved every minute! The staff is amazing and always there for you when you need them. They are also great with communication and are very organized which my type A mentality appreciates! I truly hope to be a part of this family for many years to come!!
May 15 · Ellen MoschellaMy 6-year-old daughter was on their competitive dance teams. She asked to go to the bathroom during a 2-hour dance team rehearsal. The kids drink water from their bottles all of class as they are thirsty. Other students had been allowed to go to the bathroom but her teacher would not allow her to go. Well, about 15 minutes later, my daughter started crying because she was in pain. The teacher yelled at her and called her a baby for crying and finally let her go.I texted and e-mailed the studio manager and owner several times. I received no response for several days. My daughter’s dance contract said that she could not miss regardless or she was off the team. The next day she had to attend class with the same teacher for 2.5 hours. My daughter told me that the teacher had started hurting her. The teacher was grabbing my daughter’s hands and wrists during class pretending that she was helping her dance and squeezing her very tightly. . . .I did not let my daughter return. I had to take her to the doctor twice and to urgent care once to have her arms and wrists looked at and to be treated for the bladder infection that was created because her teacher would not allow her to go the bathroom when she needed. The school breached the dance contract by not maintaining the safety of my daughter. The owner e-mailed that she would be returning the rest of my daughter’s dance team payments to me after I said that I would not be sending her back. She never sent me anything. After reading my review online, the owner of the school reached out to me and returned the rest of the money from my daughter's dance team contract.
March 26 · Marsha on the MoveExcellent school for dancers who are serious about technique in all styles. Your kid(s) will be challenged, but the teachers are as kind as they are supportive.
