BEWARE! I hate to do this to another small business owner, but I think given the circumstances, I would be remiss to not warn people of the situation. I own a business in which Iris Gold the apparent owner of this studio purchased over $500.00 worth of product from me, which she sold at the last dance recital she held. The day before pickup, Iris asked if she could pay by check. I informed her I didn't accept checks. She asked me to make an exception because her debit card was hacked. Since I have done business with Iris last year, I chose to make the exception as a good faith gesture, in hopes of retaining Iris's business for the next dance recital.2 weeks later and over $100.00 in fees, I'm notified by my bank that the check Iris wrote to me bounced. I texted Iris and was given the run around for almost 2 months. I was promised by Iris that she would bring me payment however, only $125.00 was ever paid to me.I was unable to get payment from Iris so I told her I would need to take her to small claims court. Iris told me the day before court that she was filing bankruptcy for herself and her business, which now leads me to believe that she wrote that check to me knowing she would never be able to pay me. I was also told right after the recital that Iris sold everything, she purchased from me for cash, which she put in her own pocket rather than paying me for the product she purchased and sold.I am shocked anyone would do this. One minute she is filing bankruptcy personally and for her business and then the next I see on Facebook that Iris is moving into a new studio, looking for someone to hang swings for palliates in her studio, yet I still am not paid.I wasn't going to say anything, however when I saw the new studio, I felt it only right to warn anyone handing their money over to Iris Gold. You may never see your lesson or money again. I'm just hoping to save someone else from being taken advantage of by Iris and Diamond Dance Academy.

Beautiful studio with a great staff and owner. My 5 year old daughter has suddenly Started to LOVE dance and doesn’t want to leave when she’s there. Her previous dance studio she would not be excited about going to.
