★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Thanks to a decade of excellent training, lifelong friends, and supportive teachers at Foothills, I am very excited to be attending Charlotte Ballet’s Trainee Program this coming fall. I will always consider Foothills as my second home, and the memories I made there still bring a smile to my face. Ms. Ginny’s dedication as Artistic Director to each of her students is unmatched, and I’m incredibly appreciative of her and the beautiful studio she has created.
August 10 · Annie RossFoothills is, without a doubt, my home as a dancer. I grew up taking ballet, jazz, and modern there and later instructed as well, and it provided me with both an outstanding artistic education and a community with which to share my love of dance. Foothills has brought me from being a toddler twirling around the living room in a tutu, to being a passionate little girl thinking surely her wild aspirations must be pipe dreams, to being the high school senior diving headfirst into the pursuit of a professional career in dance. I am now going into my senior year at Marymount Manhattan college (for modern dance) in the Big Apple itself, and thanks to my upbringing at FDC, dreams are coming true every day. If you choose to learn dance at this place, and if you are hard-working and passionate, you will find a place to bloom as an artist and experience the magic of live performance.
August 09 · Danielle StraderFoothills Dance Conservatory is a true gem in the Upstate of South Carolina! Ginny invests in her students and pushes them to be their best. My son, who is a current dance major at SCGSAH, discovered a love for ballet because of Ginny. He has plans to pursue dance as a career. My daughter is also a current student at Foothills Conservatory and looks forward to her classes each week. Ginny has many connections in the dance community bringing in quality instructors and guest dancers to our community.
April 09 · Alison StricklandI've been dancing at Foothills for six years. From my experience, this studio offers excellent training in a safe and encouraging environment. The artistic director, Ginny Siano-Eck, brings in amazing and talented faculty that the students adore. Foothills equips their students will all the skills that they would need in a professional company. This past summer I was accepted into The Rock School for Dance Education Summer Intensive and I give all the credit to this studio. I would recommend Foothills in a heartbeat!
August 11 · Rose ArnoldFoothills Dance has been a great outlet for my daughters over the years. It has provided wonderful instruction and discipline which has trickled into other areas of their lives producing healthy habits. Being able to perform in the Nutcracker and end of year performances is a real treat as Foothills does not disappoint! They always put on a great, high quality show!
