★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I cannot rave enough about this incredible dance studio, it’s pure magic from the moment you walk through the doors. The vibes here are always uplifting, supportive, and electric with creativity. Every class offers a chance to explore different dance styles, whether you’re dipping your toes in for the first time or adding new moves to your repertoire. One of the most beautiful aspects? The tiny circle ritual before class. It’s such a heartfelt way to connect and genuinely getting to know the people you're sharing the dance floor with. That sense of community is rare and unforgettable. The teachers and TAs? Absolute energy powerhouses. They bring such passion and joy that it spills over into every warm-up, stretch, and combo. And speaking of space, there's plenty of room to flex and stretch 💅🏻🪭Whether you’re a total beginner or just want to capture your glow on camera, this studio’s got you. You can record yourself for personal growth or join in curated choreo videos that highlight your most radiant self. This place didn’t just upgrade my dancing, it transformed my daily rhythm. I feel grounded, energized, and truly grateful to have stumbled upon this gem ✨
July 29 · Lydia Li-Te Lin100/10 MUST GO!! I found Free Mind on Class Pass and booked an hour before class, I was only in the city for 2 days and wanted to find a fun dance class. I was happy they still let me attend though I was running behind trying to find the place. I booked Floor Play first and came back the same day for Heels Class because of how much I enjoyed the class and the overall environment, plus the instructor Cali was amazing!! I was so nervous yall!! I really want to come back and try more classes now and will definitely be back when I’m in the city!It was hard to find and get in to the building so don’t give up, but the second time I came I knew where I was going. Thanks for curating such a great space to let loose, feel sexy, and be empowered. XO
March 09 · Kelley LeeI went for the Disney channel hits choreo, and I had the best time learning a camp rock dance! Both Rachel (working the front desk) and Justin (our instructor) were the sweetest. They made us feel so welcomed and comfortable in the studio and during the class. Justin made the energy of the class feel so enjoyable and inclusive. I can't wait to go back!
August 03 · gab cI can’t believe next month marks a year since I found this gem! I come for the sexy heels class, and it’s easily the highlight of my week. The instructor Callie, is amazing. She’s passionate, welcoming, and truly attentive, making sure everyone feels comfortable and confident in the choreography. The routines are not only sexy but also easy to follow, so you can really let go and enjoy yourself. What I love most is the atmosphere. Even when the class is full, it still feels peaceful and organized, which puts me at ease and makes me feel safe. I’m so glad I found this place, it’s worth the trip for me every time.
March 10 · Tiffany KokofuI've only been here a handful of times, but I can confidently say that this space adds value to the world. Big statement, I know, but we were all created to move our bodies to the sounds within and around us. Free Mind makes this possible for people like me, those of us who were not encouraged to organically connect with ourselves. The environment is safe, inclusive, and flexible enough to accommodate beginners. The studio itself is spacious and well lit. Every person on staff that I've encountered has always been friendly and helpful. I can't wait to be back!
