What is worth choosing this place?
Choosing a dance academy for a child is a very personal decision, and the value of a place like Heroes of Hip Hop lies in its specific approach. The most compelling reason to choose this studio is its proven ability to build confidence and develop talent. As one parent's testimonial perfectly illustrates, the program helped their son, who started at age 10 and continued until 14, become a more confident and self-assured person. The experience of performing and being pushed out of his comfort zone had a lasting, positive impact on his personality, which is a goal for many parents. For a child with a serious interest in hip hop and performance, this is a significant benefit that a less-structured environment might not provide.
It is important to consider the nature of an audition-only academy. While this structure can be highly beneficial for dedicated students, it might not be for everyone. The second review, which mentions a less-than-positive experience with the owners and a perceived lack of attention for some students, highlights a potential drawback of this model. It's a reminder that a results-driven environment, while excellent for some, may not cater to those who are still in the early stages of exploring an interest.
However, for the right student—one who is motivated, committed, and ready for a challenging program—the benefits are clear. The combination of a specialized focus on hip hop and theatrical productions, a professional-level company, and the opportunity for frequent performance is a rare and valuable package. The free audition/trial class is a great way for families to determine if the culture and teaching style are the right fit before making a long-term commitment. For those in the Florida area seeking a high-level, dedicated performing arts training ground, Heroes of Hip Hop offers a clear path to both artistic and personal growth. It is an ideal choice for the young artist ready to take their passion to the next level.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1My son had a great time learning to dance with Ms. Fergie at HHH. He started when he was 10 years old and continued until he was 14. Dancing and performing helped to develop his confidence and pushed him out of his comfort zone. He is now 18 but continues to be confident to get up and dance and not worry about feeling awkward like alot of kids do.
January 04 · Michele WolfWe had several problems with the owners of the academy. They are quite superb and really for a child who is never being that is very ugly. They only see with good eyes those children who stand out and the rest that is arranged as it can. But when you send your child to learn a dance or sport, you want someone to take care to teach him and exercise his mistakes. Well that doesn't happen here

January 05 · Coli TambI think I wrote a review for HHH four years ago when we first discovered them. I want to update that review now that we have had four years of amazing experiences. Four years of instruction and phenomenal choreography, but also guidance and mentoring. We have participated in Broadway-caliber theater productions, taken 2 awesome trips to perform at Disney Springs, tried out for television and fiercely (and successfully) competed against some impressive schools and dancers. As part of the HHH family, we have made great friends and grown tremendously. Everyone at the school has been so kind, professional and just incredible. And, special kudos to Miss Fergie. Not only is she a gifted and enthusiastic dancer, she is a consummate professional and an inspiration. The kids adore her and desire her approval. She teaches them not only technical skills, but showmanship. Every production is deliberate and thoughtful to the point that people are often surprised by how magnificent they are. My girls and our family have been blessed to find HHH and their welcoming and inclusion of us has meant the world to us. #HHHforever
June 03 · Erika RoyalMy little girl loves it there. She is getting ready to do her first dance performance. They are very cautious about keeping the kids safe by applying all covid precautions as well.
