Recreational Classes: These are non-competitive classes offered in various styles, with each class performing a dance in the annual June recital.
Pre-Acrobatics: An introductory program for very young students (ages 3-4) to learn foundational acrobatic skills in a fun and supportive environment.
Debut Program: A structured introduction to tap and ballet for students aged 2-4, with each class participating in the annual recital.

The availability of a wheelchair-accessible parking lot is a practical feature that makes the studio more accessible to the entire community. However, it's important to note a review that raises a serious concern about the safety and certification of instructors, advising parents to ask for documentation of proper training. This review, which mentions a child sustaining severe injuries due to improper technique, suggests a need for parents to be proactive in their due diligence. The review also notes that parents are not allowed to watch classes, a policy that some might find concerning.

For local residents of Massachusetts, choosing High Voltage Dance Academy presents a potential opportunity for dance education, but it is one that requires careful consideration. The studio offers a wide array of classes, from foundational ballet to acrobatic arts, catering to a diverse range of interests. The emphasis on being "good for kids" and creating a "family-oriented atmosphere" is a positive message that many parents seek. The convenience of its location in Swansea and the wheelchair-accessible parking lot are also notable benefits. However, the provided negative review from a customer who reported serious injuries to their child due to alleged improper training is a significant factor to consider. This review highlights the importance of asking for a teacher's credentials and understanding the studio's policies, such as the no-watching policy for parents. While this single review may not represent the entire experience at the studio, it serves as a critical piece of information for parents to use when making their decision. Ultimately, High Voltage Dance Academy offers a robust curriculum and a community-focused mission, but parents are strongly advised to perform their own due diligence, ask detailed questions about instructor qualifications, and consider all available feedback to ensure the safety and well-being of their child.

High Voltage Dance Academy Reviews
Please make sure that you ask for proper documentation on who is / is not certified to train your child in any form/style of dance / Acro and ask to SEE the documentation. I am at fault for not asking to see proper paperwork and took the owners word for it and my child ended up with 3 severe ligament sprains that still effects them to this day due to being taught the improper way of landing / technique. I have much more I could say but it only gets worse, and I don’t want to stoop to the same level as the owner. I did, however, want to let people know to at least ask for paperwork showing that the teacher(s) have proper training, that your child is working with THAT teacher…and if they still do not let parents watch, you may want to question why! (Distraction is not the reason).
