June 21 · Keith KingI had never had any formal martial arts training before Iowa City Kung Fu so I was completely fresh to it. I do believe I landed in the right place! Sifu Grant Brown and Rob Weingeist train styles of Kung Fu that are unique to the area. I had a lot to learn, and both instructors are very patient down-to-earth people. The two styles they teach are practical and very powerful! They are both very knowledgeable about Chinese culture and philosophies. They will start out as your instructors and end up being your mentors. I have a lot of respect for both of them and the arts they teach. I was with them for almost 2 years and I would continue training with them for 10+ years if I could. They are great people, and all of Iowa City Kung Fu is great people. You will not regret this experience!Thank you again Grant and Rob, and the rest of Iowa City Kung Fu!
