★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I can’t say enough wonderful things about this dance studio! Ms. LA is wonderful and such a fun person. She’s bright and bubbly and is a dance genius. I initially started dance for my daughter to have an extra curricular activity that I did not have to be with her. My daughter was shy at first and I was nervous, but Ms. LA explained everything so well and was so good at what she did. My daughter loves the class. She also has wonderful recitals that are beautiful to watch. Great money spent without breaking the bank. She has the patience of a saint dealing with that many littles at once. She has many different toes of dance outside of ballet. I would highly recommend this studio to everyone! Make sure you read reviews of families who actually attended the dance studio! They won’t steer you wrong.
April 27 · Maya WigginsIt’s actually quite sad to see so many people who never attended a studio leave negative comments based of one persons experience and not give the place a chance to try themselves.I am a current parent of this dance company. My daughter is 2 and is in the same class. This was my child’s first dance experience and opportunity to be around children her age as she doesn’t attend daycare. I have been involved with dance since the beginning of the season. As a parent I’ve had to take accountability and redirect my daughter when she has caused disruption and decided to play versus dance especially if it was a distraction to the other students.LA has talked to me personally and encouraged my daughter to stay in class. She has motivated her and has been more than patient. The other parents in the Saturday have been so helpful and encouraging as well.I hate to see so much drama surrounding a business that actually does care and try with the kids.Take everything you hear or read with a grain a salt. I understand everyone’s experience is different and I stand by mine. I appreciate the opportunity given to my daughter to introduce her to dance.
April 26 · Mia S (Mia Sutton)As a member of the dance community for the past 39 years, dance teacher and coach for the past 23, I am honored and blessed to have the opportunity to teach at Mid-County Dance! LA and I randomly crossed paths last year and when the opportunity was presented to teach I was thrilled to jump on board! There are many studios out there, all having different ways to make themselves unique from the next and MCD is no different. What I love most about MCD is that we welcome ALL children, regardless of their ability! We work hard to create a fun and loving environment for our students! Miss LA knows that situations arise at times that may make it difficult for a family to make their monthly tuition, but is always willing to discuss payment plans with them to ensure that students are having the opportunity to do what they love in a safe and caring environment! I would recommend MDC to any family looking to enroll their little ones in their first dance class and know that they will enjoy every minute! Miss LA and I spend countless hours discussing what we are doing well and what we can do differently to ensure that we are making the dance community a better place for all! We not only teach children how to dance, but strive to also instill kindness, respect, pride and self confidence in every dancer that crosses our paths! Keep dancing STL!
April 23 · Kristen RevisThe owner of this dance company is rude, unprofessional and unethical. She does not know how to run a business or know how to handle herself professionally. I would never recommend anyone taking their kid here. Prices are high for the class time. Half the time she is late and the kids don’t get the full 45 minutes. If you watch a class after a month these kids still don’t know how to dance. If you don’t want to be scammed go somewhere else.
April 27 · Family Fun Silly VideosThe owner is not right. They meet once a week for 45 minutes. She puts the children out of class. She talks rude to the parents and crazy to the kids.. She unprofessional. My granddaughter was put out because my daughter spoke to her on how she talks to the children and parents. This studio needs to be exposed. It's really sad people like her has malice intentions and only thinks about how to get money and not be right by the people who is paying for the services.
