Choosing a performing arts school is a significant decision for any family. While it's important to consider various perspectives, Peacock's Performing Arts Center offers several compelling reasons for families in the Central Georgia area to choose it. The primary reason is the sheer scope of their programming. Unlike many specialized studios, Peacock's provides a "one-stop shop" for performing arts education. This saves families time and makes it easier to manage multiple artistic pursuits for their children. The variety of classes, from classical music to competitive dance, ensures that a student can grow with the studio, exploring different interests as they get older.
The center's focus on foundational skills is also a major draw. As one parent highlighted, the staff works to instill core values like discipline and patience. This holistic approach to education means that students gain more than just technical ability; they learn valuable life skills that will serve them well beyond the stage. While some experiences may vary, the general sentiment is that the center strives to provide a solid educational and character-building experience. For parents, knowing that their children are in an environment that values personal growth as much as artistic achievement is a powerful incentive.
Finally, the center’s accessibility and location are worth noting. Situated in Bonaire with easy access for residents of surrounding towns, it has become a convenient hub for a wide community. Peacock's Performing Arts Center Reviews
My Granddaughter dances at this studio. The staff is amazing and has taught her so much not only about dance but discipline and patience.
September 24 · Derek MeredithLet me start by saying we liked this dance place in the beginning. However, I do feel like this place is a money pit and all about who you know. My daughter has been going here since August I had approached them twice about possibly moving my daughter into another class. Due to I felt she had more experience and could be around girls her age. But yet they would not move her up. Since August they do the same thing over and over again. And my child was more advanced than what they were doing and spending time on in the class. She was bored with the class. And did not want to come anymore. I have already paid for her recital costume. And I have paid all. Payments of $67 a month since August the dance teacher is hardly ever there. She was not even there on their parent night. Where the parents get to come and watch to see what all they have accomplished. And it was a teenage teacher. Where the kids were actually having to tell the teacher what they were learning. I understand that I was not able to get the money back for the costume because it had already been ordered. However, I just paid the $67 for this month and my child has went once. So I asked to be in confiscated for some of my money. Because I was going to be out so much money that I put in already. The lady on the phone accused me of being aggressive in the conversation Which was not true. I never raised my voice. They just did not want to talk to me anymore. My concern was to get a little of my money back. And that was absolutely not going to happen with them and due to that. She didn't want to speak to me anymore. I think this was very unprofessional and I would not recommend this place . Had they tried to be sincere about my concerns I would not have left this review. I am very appalled By the way, the lady was treating me on the phone. I was never rude to her Yet she wanted to insinuate That I was speaking to her in a negative matter. I had someone with Me that heard the whole conversation. That was not the case.
