★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I had such an amazing experience in Jada’s semi-private class! Her energy is infectious, her instructions are clear, and she has an incredible way of making you feel confident no matter your skill level. Jada is not only technically skilled but also genuinely encouragingThis was my first pole class, and I’m already looking forward to going back. If you’re considering pole, do yourself a favor and take a class with Jada — she’s truly fantastic!
June 21 · hallie paredesI can’t recommend Pole position enough! Jessie’s classes are so much fun, but perfect for first time dancers. I get so much out of every class and had zero dance experience when I started. 10 classes in and honestly I’m so excited for the next 10! I feel so supported and welcome as a plus size dancer. You can tell they genuinely care about inclusivity, and making sure all the students feel like they belong.
July 22 · Nicole BurtonIt’s been over a year that I’ve been dancing at Pole Position. The first classes I took were chair dance with Taylor (the owner) and fluidity with Marianne, since then I’ve taken classes with the majority of the instructors. I can honestly say they are all amazing and they have teaching styles unique to their individuality in all the best ways. Taylor, and everyone at the studio makes it such a safe and supportive space for everyone. I came to the studio with some pole experience, and looking back now I feel like my strength, confidence and dance ability have grown so much in the past year. There’s really something for everyone here! Not into pole? They offer non pole dance classes and stretch classes. I would recommend if you plan to take pole classes or coming with experience to ask the front desk what level class suits you better. The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly! Come ready before class time starts, the warm up time is SO important for conditioning and making sure you don’t get any injuries, and bonus time to get to know your classmates is always a plus! :) I really feel like it’s become a second home to me, the friendships and bonds you make here are priceless!
April 02 · Din YangThere are not enough great things that I can say about this studio. Pole Position has been a home away from home for me for over two years now. I started coming by doing a "Pole Party" with my co-workers, I instantly loved it. Later that year I became a full member and have zero regrets. The atmosphere, the staff, the instructors and the community is unmatched. In an environment where you are asked to be fully yourself and vulnerable, I have always felt save and seen and loved. The instructors I have worked the most with have been Taylor Starke, the incredible owner, and Marianne Dabir. I adore them both and have made incredible progress in their classes. That being said, I have had the pleasure of working with all of the instructors over the many months I have attended. They are all phenomenal teachers, incredible cheerleaders, and exquisite human beings. This team is truly special.Gotta make a special shoutout to the community that this studio has created. The friendships, the love, the support and the overall safety keeps us all coming back. I look forward to the smiles, hugs and conversations every week.Deepest deepest gratitude to this place. If you were every wondering if you should try Pole...DO IT and come to Pole Position NY, it will change your life!
April 06 · Maya CarlSince I started coming to this studio, it has truly become my second home. Even though I live 50 min away, I make the trip multiple times a week because it’s that worth it! Every instructor is incredibly knowledgeable, talented, and brings their own unique touch to class. I’ve tried multiple classes and have loved each one. The vibes and community here are unmatched—you can feel the genuine support from both instructors and classmates. If you’re looking for a place to grow, feel empowered, and be surrounded by amazing people, this is it!
