★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1My son, Carter, really enjoyed working with Mrs. Jodi in her musical theatre troupe’s production of Legally Blonde this summer. Mrs. Jodi provides top-tier training while keeping a compassionate and fun environment. The show director, Talia, was also an amazing director and her and Jodi executed the show very well.Prodigy is a beautiful studio where students of all ages can grow in their talents and receive high quality training in dance and performing arts, in a loving and fun environment. I am so thankful to have found such a great studio for my son, and would highly recommend Prodigy to anyone.
July 25 · Brooke H.My daughter has done multiple musical theatre shows here. With musical theatre she has learned to grow in confidence and she has made so many wonderful friends. She started dancing with Prodigy this fall and she absolutely loves it. She has a lot of fun dancing in this studio and has learned how to do splits and is working on her heel stretch.During the summer she has attended many summer camps and had a great time.Ms. Jodi is a hard worker and she is dedicated dance teacher. She works really hard to make sure your child gets a chance to shine.
April 08 · Rebecca GrahamOur daughter began participating with Prodigy Performing Arts through the musical theater program. Since her first show in summer 2021, I've seen her grow from a puppy in 101 Dalmatians Jr. to a villainous eel in Little Mermaid Jr. During those years, her confidence and stage presence have grown astronomically. After initially only participating in musical theater, our daughter received further exposure to Prodigy through extra-curricular clubs at her school. That's because Prodigy's owner Jodi Kempany goes out into the community and meets students where they are. That being said, she also greatly utilizes her studio space that has been renovated in the past couple of years. This past school year, our daughter began attending dance and acrotumbling classes on Saturdays. She had danced at a different studio for the past few years, but this was the first time we went through a whole dance season without any push back from our daughter.During school breaks, including the summer, our daughter has attended several camps at Prodigy. Virtually every one includes a special program on the final day for the parents, and our daughter seems to have mastered a new skill for every camp she attends. At the end of the day, the most important thing to us is our daughter's happiness, and she genuinely enjoys every day spent with Jodi Kempany and Prodigy Performing Arts.
June 17 · Nicholas SullivanThis is my daughter’s fifth year at Prodigy Performing Arts. She takes ballet, tap, jazz, and acrobatics and attends classes twice a week. My daughter loves her dance classes and I attribute so much of that to Ms. Jody. She is a fantastic teacher. In addition to her classes, she’s offered various day camps and enrichment programs during school breaks and summer. To anyone looking for a studio with small classes, even Covid safe in these times, I highly recommend reaching out to Ms. Jody!
January 30 · Amanda NixonOur daughter has been taking dance lessons from Ms. Jodi for the past 9 years, participating in studio classes as well as various camps and workshops. In our opinion, Ms. Jodi is a bedrock of the local performing arts community. Her lifelong mission has been to make dance and arts education accessible, affordable and fun for everyone. She is highly experienced and knowledgeable and the children truly cherish their time with her.We have seen Ms. Jodi mentor many up and coming dancers and performing artists over the years as well as help our own children reach for the stars in everything they do. She goes above and beyond to ensure her students learn the correct and safest ways to exercise and perform and puts sincere thought and professionalism into every project she takes on.
