★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1My fiancé and I started taking private one-on-one salsa classes as a Valentine’s gift —and it has been one of the best gifts ever! From day one, we felt completely at ease. Our instructor is not only incredibly experienced but also radiates patience, passion, and a true love for teaching. She makes learning so fun and approachable, always willing to review steps without ever making us feel rushed. We genuinely look forward to every lesson and have already talked about continuing our salsa journey and exploring other dance styles with her. We can’t recommend her enough!
April 12 · DanielI was given a gift card for private salsa lessons after moving to Miami because how can you live here and not learn salsa? I got lucky. The energy is fun, warm, and welcoming. Alessandro and Annia make the space feel comfortable, and their teaching style strikes a good balance of relaxed and inspiring. They're experienced and fun and make the whole learning curve a pleasure.I came in knowing nothing, but within a short time, my wife and I are doing things I honestly didn’t think were possible. It’s been a fun surprise. The instructors are talented and also thoughtful, funny, and well travelled, so each lesson you learn a mix of dance and the sub-culture of real salsa casino / cuban salsa. It looks great, it's crowd-pleasing, and it's fun. There’s a great community here in this studio too. Plenty of regulars, no ego, just a good vibe. It’s turned into our Friday night ritual.
April 11 · Galen GobleMy partner and I have been attending group and private classes at 88th Salsa, and have had nothing but a great experience. Coming from someone with no background in dance, Annia & Alessandro are wonderful teachers who thoroughly explain the steps. They are encouraging and patient no matter what level you are at. We genuinely look forward to each class every week!
April 05 · AlejandroI love this place! Its been a month now since i started going i think. I started thinking I was going to learn casually at my own pace but I go every single day. Its so much fun and the teachers are great! Even with groups they still take time to help individuals and give pointers. I just started beginner 3 this week and because of the preparation from 1 and 2 I don't feel lost or as nervous as I thought I would with how fast paced this level is. Thank you!! These classes give me something to look forward to every day. It gets me through the work week!
April 08 · W CThis is a great dance studio! If you are a beginner or advanced there is something for you! Afro Cuban dance is spectacular and bachata as well! Definitely worth your investment!
