Studio Rouge Introduce
Studio Rouge is a unique and empowering point of interest located in Columbus, Ohio, offering a different kind of fitness and dance experience. This is not your average gym or dance studio. As a women-owned business, Studio Rouge is dedicated to creating a space where individuals can explore their strength, creativity, and sensuality through the art of pole and aerial dance. It's a place that challenges the traditional concept of a workout, combining elements of dance, acrobatics, and fitness into engaging and empowering classes. For those in the Ohio area looking to try something new, build confidence, and join a supportive community, Studio Rouge presents a truly compelling option. The studio's commitment to self-love and body positivity is a core part of its identity, making it a welcoming and inclusive space for all.
The studio's extensive list of class offerings highlights its dedication to providing a diverse range of opportunities for its clientele. From introductory sessions for complete beginners to advanced choreography and conditioning classes, there's a path for every skill level and interest. The unique nature of the classes, such as Twerk, Chair Dance, and Aerial Silks, sets it apart from more conventional fitness centers. These classes are designed not only to build physical strength and flexibility but also to foster confidence and self-expression. Many students find that the experience is transformative, helping them discover newfound capabilities and feel more empowered in their own skin. Studio Rouge aims to be a sanctuary where people can feel comfortable pushing their boundaries in a supportive, non-judgmental environment.
While the studio's mission and offerings are powerful, it's also important to consider all aspects of the customer experience. Some feedback from a customer who was a first-time visitor highlighted a lack of structure in one particular class and an issue with a shared pole. These are important points for the studio to consider in maintaining a high standard of quality. However, reviews from other sources paint a picture of a studio that prioritizes a "no pole sharing" policy and limits class sizes to maintain quality, which suggests that the negative experience may have been an isolated incident. The studio’s commitment to providing a supportive, welcoming environment and its focus on empowering women through movement remains a consistent theme across much of its public information, underscoring its core values. It is a place where many people come to feel powerful in their own skin.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1My friend and I attended Studio Rouge for the first time, and unfortunately, our experience left much to be desired. As someone who has been a pole instructor for over 7 years, I was surprised by how unstructured the class felt from start to finish. While I understand that every instructor has their own teaching style, this class lacked essential elements—especially for beginners. My friend, who was trying pole for the very first time, was not offered any modifications for the moves we were learning. The warm-up lasted about 30 minutes and felt more like a yoga flow than a prep for a pole class. The combo we worked on required a lot of floor work, which ended up being painful due to the hard flooring. It would have made a big difference if we had been advised ahead of time to bring knee pads and socks to protect our knees and feet.Additionally, it was difficult to hear the instructor for most of the class due to the noise from another class happening right next to us.Overall, this was not the best introduction to Studio Rouge. I genuinely hope the studio takes steps to improve the structure of their classes, offer proper support for beginners, and create a more comfortable environment for everyone attending.
June 14 · Angelica StezenWent to a class—paid for the class and ended up having to share a pole and not getting the full experience because someone else showed up who didn’t even pay and they gave her my pole because she was a part of a party and showed up last minute. I won’t be back unless something has changed. I didn’t even get to learn anything when I went. I felt embarrassed sitting on the floor for half the time.
May 31 · Arianna WStudio Rouge is my favorite place in the world! I've been coming here for almost three years now, and since then I've become a much stronger, versatile aerialist. All the instructors are dedicated to their students' success, while being understanding and accommodating of everyone's differences and needs. The community at Studio Rouge is just incredible! ❤️
June 14 · LydiaI could not recommend Studio Rouge enough! I went for a bachelorette party and had a wonderful time! They did a great job making the class accessible to total beginners. Multiple girls in our party left wanting to pursue more classes in the future because it was such a great experience. We were also obsessed with the instructor/owner! :) Finally, one of our girls had a medical issue shortly before the start of our class. But Studio Rouge was incredibly accommodating and flexible with us!
April 23 · Elizabeth MillsUpdate: from 5 to 4 starsI unfortunately can no longer come to this studio as i have been priced out. When I started coming to Studio Rouge I was paying $27 per class. I just went to book classes and it is now $45 a class.I don't know if there was a post somewhere saying why there was a sudden big price increase but I feel blindsided by it. I would love to keep coming but I can't afford that price unfortunately.Orginal Post:As of writing this review I have taken 7 classes at Studio Rouge ranging from chair dance to pole to aerial silks. All of then have been super fun and informative. Instructors are all super nice and welcoming no matter your starting skill level. The studio is super clean (all stations have alcohol and rags for students to clean yoga mats, silks, poles down after class).
