★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Very impressive School! For context, I have been dancing professionally and teaching extensively at multiple ballet companies and schools for over 10 years. I was delighted to take ballet class at the Ballet School of Vermont while visiting. The instructor, Mary Ellen, is highly qualified and demonstrated clear, correct, and caring instruction throughout the class. I had a great workout and have already used some of her descriptive corrections with my own students in Virginia. The dancers are definitely being set up for success here! I'm glad to see a school of this caliber St. Albans and will be sure to take class again when I'm next in town.

August 04 · John HallThe Ballet School of Vermont has been such a positive and meaningful place for our daughter. She began dancing at the age of 3.5 and we knew that if she was choosing to dance that we, as parents, wanted her to have an authentic and classical experience. All of the teachers at the Ballet School have been providing her with exactly that type of experience for the last 9 years. The training and guidance that she has received has allowed her to grow into a dedicated and talented ballerina. Dancers are not only learning the correct placement that their bodies need to be in while dancing, but are also developing a serious mindset of the art of dance. Our daughter has learned not only the ballet positions but also qualities of grace, focus, determination, and perseverance – qualities that will be important for her to have in all that she encounters throughout life. We are truly grateful for The Ballet School of Vermont and feel blessed that it is a part of our lives.
June 18 · Nancy MatasThe Ballet School of Vermont is an exceptional training program for classical ballet. It truly is a rare gem here in Franklin County, Vermont.I have three daughters at The Ballet School of Vermont and they have learned so much over the years. They’ve grown to appreciate the beauty and complexity of the human body; they’ve developed an appreciation for classical music and the arts; and they have grown in character, work ethic, grace, beauty and strength. As a mom, I appreciate the care Maryellen Vickery and her staff have taken to ensure that my dancers are supported, challenged and safe. BSVT goes above and beyond.KarenVermont Ballet Mom, St. Albans VT
June 26 · Karen AndersonI am so fortunate to have such an excellent ballet school in our corner of Northern Vermont. My daughter has been a student for 6 years and through MaryEllen Vickery and the other professional teachers at the school, she has developed not only a love for the sport, but a passion and discipline to pursue excellence. The curriculum allows for students to grow their training as their own enthusiasm develops. This year she was accepted into several renowned ballet summer intensives, which is a testament to the quality and commitment of the teachers, as well as their ability to make ballet class fun and engaging.
