The Dancers Studio Reviews
This is a great place for kids to learn to dance, grow in confidence, and develop great friendships. All of the instructors are wonderful, they love the kids and you can really tell. As a parent I have really enjoyed watching my daughter grow as a dancer. And as a great bonus, I too have made great friends here.
March 03 · Sheila MurrayMy kids have been dancing here for a few years now. They are actually starting Company this year. Mrs. Brenda creates a great atmosphere for kids who want to learn. I have tried other activities for my kids, and usually after a few weeks they are asking me not to go. They are always excited to go to dance with Mrs. Brenda.
July 12 · Rory ScottMy daughter has been dancing at the Dancer's studio for 6 years! She loves it! Brenda and all the teachers are amazing! This place is wonderful!
March 16 · MonicaIf you are looking for a competition studio please do not send your children here! I am a former student of this studio and I can whole heartedly say this studio did not give me the opportunity to grow or be competitive (skill wise) as a performer. I did dance as well as one other extracurricular. I devoted most of my time to dance while stepping away as little as possible for my other activity. This however made everyone (staff included) very bitter towards me. Mind you I had danced here 14 years before I started splitting my time. My willingness to put in effort to make up for days I missed was ignored and I was not given any tools or accommodations to help me keep up when I wasn’t in the classroom (accurate videos of choreography, extra days to come in and learn on my own, etc.). They basically decided they would “catch me up later” by moving on (which I understand is necessary) without ensuring I was given the tools to learn what I missed on my own (that is not necessary). I was then blamed for not being caught up. I was told that I didn’t care enough, I wasn’t putting in enough effort, and I was disrespecting my team. I would have believed them if it had not been for my other activity which offered notes, videos, review time, etc. and the one instructor who stood by me and believed that I was trying my best with the little I was given. These are not the reasons I quit but in retrospect I should have known to expect what came. The one teacher who did advocate for me and provide resources has since left, I assume for reasons similar to what I have listed here. Instructors should be teaching not watching their oldest company come up with choreography and putting it into the dance. They were being paid to teach me and chose not to because it “didn’t seem like I cared”, but also because they hadn’t made the choreography. You will be ignored if you struggle, you will not be given opportunities to improve if you are not “one of the best”, and you will not learn good technique and skill as a dancer period. Avoid this studio they will tell you it’s a family and a home but it’s not.
August 01 · Brayden FennellA loving and amazing place for your kid to learn dance. They care about your kids, treat them well and teach them to dance like pros. Thank you for the amazing work you did with my daughter. My daughter performs for us daily, she dances while we are in walmart, target basically anywhere she sees any space. I love it! Also, thank you for your amazing attention and detail with each child in your studio. It is amazing to watch.
