Tumble World Introduce
Tumble World, situated in Chesapeake, Ohio, is a dedicated Gymnastics Center aimed at providing a space for children and young athletes to engage in tumbling and movement-based physical activity. In the local Ohio community, the facility is recognized as a specialized sports complex focused solely on gymnastics and related disciplines, rather than a multi-sport facility. It is designed to be a safe, dedicated environment where children can build strength, coordination, and confidence through structured programs.
As a Gymnastics Center, Tumble World typically caters to a variety of age groups, often beginning with toddler or Mommy and Me
style classes and progressing through recreational and possibly competitive levels for older children. These programs are often highly valued in the Ohio area for promoting key developmental milestones, including gross motor skills, flexibility, and physical discipline. The facility operates on a membership-required basis, indicating a commitment to ongoing classes and skill progression for registered participants.
However, potential patrons in the Ohio region must be aware that while the facility provides specialized services for kids, it has recently been the subject of severe public criticism. Multiple real customer reviews indicate significant concerns regarding the establishment's treatment of children with disabilities or neurodivergence, alleging ableist and discriminatory behavior by the owner toward crying or fussy children, including those on the autism spectrum. These very serious community concerns should be carefully weighed against the facility's available services before considering enrollment.
Tumble World is located in the southern Ohio community of Chesapeake, serving families across Lawrence County and the surrounding Tri-State area. Its location is set slightly outside the main commercial hub, offering a dedicated space for children’s athletic training.
The official physical address for the facility is:
11164 Co Rd 1, Chesapeake, OH 45619, USA
Accessibility is a key structural feature of the complex, designed to accommodate all patrons from the Ohio community. The location is equipped with several features to ensure ease of access:
- On-site Parking: Dedicated parking is available, providing convenience for parents dropping off and picking up their children for classes.
- Wheelchair Accessible Entrance: The main entry is designed to be accessible to all, ensuring smooth navigation for those using mobility aids.
- Wheelchair Accessible Parking Lot: Specific parking spots are designated for individuals with disabilities, ensuring close and easy access to the entrance.
- Amenities: Basic facilities, including a Restroom, are available on the premises for the comfort of children and accompanying parents.
The gym's convenient access and ample parking are practical considerations for Ohio families integrating class attendance into busy weekly schedules.
As a specialized Gymnastics Center, Tumble World focuses its services on developing foundational and advanced tumbling and movement skills, primarily for a youth demographic. The primary service offerings are highly structured classes designed to ensure progressive skill acquisition in a controlled setting.
General service categories include:
- Specialized Gymnastics Programs:
- Classes are provided for various age and skill levels, which typically range from beginner to more advanced tumbling and gymnastics.
- Programs often focus on floor-based skills like rolls, cartwheels, handstands, and progression to back handsprings and other advanced tumbling movements.
- Early Childhood Programs:
- Classes are available that are
Good for kids,
often includingMommy and Me
or pre-K tumbling classes aimed at developing basic motor skills in toddlers and preschoolers.
- Classes are available that are
- Administrative and Planning:
- Membership Required: Enrollment operates through a required membership structure, suggesting that classes are run in sessions (e.g., monthly or by term) rather than drop-in scheduling.
- Onsite Services: All training and activities occur at the Chesapeake, OH facility.
- Payment Methods:
- The center accepts a variety of modern payment options for tuition and fees, including Credit cards, Debit cards, and NFC mobile payments, providing convenience for local families.
Tumble World’s defining features revolve around its function as a specialized training facility for young athletes in Ohio.
- Specialized Focus: Unlike general fitness gyms, Tumble World focuses exclusively on gymnastics and tumbling, allowing for dedicated equipment, coaching expertise, and structured curriculums that promote deep skill development in these specific areas.
- Child-Centric Environment: The center is explicitly categorized as
Good for kids,
meaning the class structure, equipment, and facility layout are all tailored to be engaging and safe for a younger demographic, promoting physical activity and discipline. - Convenient Payment Options: The acceptance of modern payment methods, including NFC mobile payments, credit cards, and debit cards, streamlines the administrative process for parents.
- Accessibility Compliance: Structural features like the wheelchair accessible entrance and parking lot ensure the facility meets standards for physical accessibility, welcoming all members of the Ohio community.
It is crucial to note that while the physical features suggest a professional environment, the most prominent and repeatedly highlighted feature in public feedback is an organizational concern. The severe negative reviews focus on the owner's alleged lack of accommodation, compassion, and understanding toward neurodivergent children, including those with autism, with multiple claims of a ZERO tolerance
policy for crying or fussing, and alleged discrimination. This operational approach is a highly significant factor that local Ohio parents will need to consider as part of the overall experience.

For families in the Chesapeake and broader Ohio region seeking a place for their children to learn gymnastics and tumbling, the decision to choose Tumble World requires careful deliberation. Objectively, a specialized Gymnastics Center offers distinct advantages over general sports complexes. The commitment to a single type of athletic discipline—tumbling—means that equipment is tailored, and classes are focused on skill progression, which is excellent for a child dedicated to mastering specific movements like back handsprings, cartwheels, and general coordination. The fact that the center is structurally accessible, provides on-site parking, and is designed to be Good for kids
on a physical level is a practical benefit for local parents.
However, the worth of choosing Tumble World is fundamentally and severely impacted by the reported organizational culture and policy, as documented in real customer feedback. The overwhelming sentiment from recent reviews is a warning to parents of children with disabilities or neurodiversity. The allegations of ableist and discriminatory
practices, a ZERO tolerance
policy for crying, and public shaming by the owner on social media are critically important factors that prospective Ohio patrons cannot overlook.
While the physical facilities may support skill development, a core requirement for any children's sports center is a nurturing, supportive, and inclusive environment. Local Ohio parents must assess if they are willing to risk their child being treated so appallingly
or being kicked out
for behavior that stems from a disability. Ultimately, Tumble World would only be worth choosing for Ohio families if they are confident that the facility's culture and management have undergone a significant and verifiable change to prioritize compassion, neurodiversity education, and legal accommodation for all children, which the current public record suggests is a major concern.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1If I could give 0 stars I wouldIf you are looking for something to do with your special needs kiddos whatever you do NOT bring them here!!! Jill herself seems to think that all children with disabilities/neurodivergence should behave the same way neurotypical children. A mama I know got treated so appallingly by this establishment because her child with autism started to cry, after being treated terribly! Jill even made a post on her personal Facebook about the child that she basically kicked out of her establishment - apparently anyone who fusses even a little crying will be kicked out!! Disgusting behavior in my opinion. She really needs some education on working with special needs kiddos and to have some compassion and understanding!!Stay away from this establishment especially for mommy and me classesZERO STARS ⭐️
June 11 · Janey KDo not take your children there if they are autistic. They have ZERO tolerance for their crying apparently. An ableist and discriminatory place if your children have a disability. Rude owner normalizes her own ableist and discriminatory rules on Facebook post. Owner and staff need to get educated on neurodiversity. For the owner:It is against the law what you did. You have to make accommodations for children with disabilities.
June 11 · Ms. EkIf you are looking for something to do with your special needs and kids do NOT bring them here!! I repeat do NOT go here! Jill herself seems to think that all children with disabilities should be held to the same standards as neurotypical children. (If you have any high needs special children you know that, that is unacceptable!) Jill also went on to make a post on her personal Facebook about the child that she basically kicked out of her gym.. but apparently she’ll kick out any toddler/child that makes even a little fuss. Disgusting behavior in my opinion. She could have handled the situation a lot differently.
June 10 · Ashly BoulaDO NOT GO TO Tumble world CHESAPEAKE OH, THEY KICKED OUT A 2 YEAR OLD LEVEL 3 AUTISTIC BABY FOR LETTING OUT A LITTLE CRY!!& MADE A POST ON HER PERSONAL PAGE ABOUT A TODDLER! our girl got diagnosed finally about a month ago with level 3 autism & she 100% non verbal & almost 3. I'm still trying to process everything. I haven't taken my girl out in awhile bc she can be a wild one. Well i stepped out of my comfort zone & took her to a mommy & me tumble class. As we go in she's super excited. So we walked to the area (in an open gym) & My girl runs to the trampoline, well there's another girl on it already & the instructor yells saying only 1 at a time on the trampoline so I pulled my girl off & explained there are rules & we have to follow them & I redirect her. The trampoline is now free so I put my girl back on it & the same little girl comes back over & gets on it while my girl is on it & the instructor yelled at me again saying " I said only one at a time". Now I'm the only mom actually with the kids, the other moms are in a corner socializing. Why did I get yelled at when my girl was on it first? So I pulled her off even though it wasn't right & my girl starting crying ( not even a meltdown) & the owner comes over & tells us we have to take her outside bc she's crying & that disrupts the other kids! So I grab our stuff & just leave at that point. 'm beyond furious. She is saying that kids with disabilities should be on the same level as other kids. What breaks my heart is we were having fun & my girl did amazing❤️
June 10 · Austin WattsIm in town visiting friends and thought it would be fun to check out the mommy n me class. After finding out that special needs children arent treated fairly on top of the owner herself making a post on her personal page....Miss Jill, Ma'am, you need to practice what you preach. Your behavior was extremely disappointing. I would be embarrassed and feel so much shame for the actions you chose. You opened the wrong can of worms miss thing. You should not even be in business that involves children. You come off as a bully and have no compassion for children because if you did, you wouldnt of treated a 3 year old autistic child and her mother as if they werent welcomed. Id start educating myself real quick because you look completely ignorant and childish making a post on your personal page about the 3 year old you kicked out. I bet you didnt include she was autistic, because if u had you would be hiding under a rock. You are whats wrong in this world. Do better! I wouldnt take any child to this place.
