★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Aerial Express is a fantastic place for gymnastics. I know recital is coming up and I love bonding with the kids and parents and seeing what the kids routines and costumes look like. My son has learned so much from the coaches at Aerial. They are more like family than coaches. They are constantly going above and beyond for my son. I feel this is the time to thank them for all they do. I have been to other gyms and they charge you for every little extra like back handspring class, cartwheel class, etc. The cost at Aerial is beyond reasonable, I paid double plus at other gyms for less time and effort. Way to Aerial you are amazing! Keep up the good work!Lisa MartinMom of a team student
May 31 · Lisa MartinI do not recommend this gym for parents looking for structure, understanding, or professionalism. My 3-year-old son has significant hearing loss, which we made clear to both the front desk staff and his coach. Despite this, his coach continuously spoke to him as if he could hear perfectly. I kindly reminded her that he had recently undergone surgery and needed extra patience while adjusting. Instead of taking this into account, she later had the audacity to tell us how to parent our child—suggesting that we shouldn’t discuss his disability in front of him. Let me be clear: there is absolutely nothing wrong with our son knowing about his hearing challenges, and we teach him to embrace them, not hide from them.Beyond the lack of awareness and respect, the class itself was a complete disappointment. There was zero structure, with kids running freely while the coach spent more time holding other parents’ babies than actually teaching. We enrolled our son with the understanding that the staff knew we were starting from the ground up and wanted to introduce him to some structure outside our home. That was not what we got.To top it off, we’ve been trying to contact the front desk for a refund for February and have received nothing but silence. As dedicated and involved parents, we refuse to tolerate disrespect. We will be taking our child elsewhere, even if it means driving further. If you’re looking for a quality gymnastics program, I highly suggest maybe considering Mills instead.
February 05 · Emily ShermanDO NOT SIGN UP YOUR CHILDREN FOR ANY CLASSES AT THIS FACILITY.My experience with this business started while searching for possible gymnastics studios in the area that my daughter could learn gymnastics and get exercise. Aerial Express was the first to respond to our inquiry. You cannot sign up for classes online and the receptionist told me I would have to bring my daughter into the facility to “test her skill level”. I agreed to bring my daughter in the same evening. We arrived and spoke with the receptionist while waiting for a teacher to come out and take my daughter for her test. She made the facility sound like an elite state of the art facility and great teachers. My daughter went with an older woman gymnastics instructor into the gym and came back about 5 minutes later. My daughter immediately started crying saying she did not want to do gymnastics because the instructor was mean to her. We were told her teacher was a different woman so we figured we’d give it a shot.Moving into the winter months there were several weather related class cancellations as well as national holidays/vacations. Due to these things as well as my daughter being sick one of the weeks. She had not been to class in almost a month. We arrived for class and myself and my SO were approached by the receptionist after sitting down. She seemed agitated or upset. She began demanding our payment for the upcoming month of gymnastics out loud for the entire facility to hear. Feeling extremely uncomfortable my SO went to the front desk and paid whatever sum the receptionist had come up with plus any additional fees she had decided to tack on.The next practice I was sitting alone while watching my daughter practice and was approached again by the same secretary in the same agitated state demanding payment from me. I was extremely confused because we had just paid hundreds of dollars the week prior. That is when the receptionist told me that due to June being a short month the facility had decided to charge for both May and June at the same time. I told her I would have to return next week with the payment she requested. She made several unprofessional comments while myself and my daughter were leaving the facility that day.I would’ve loved to pay immediately but this facility is cash only and does not take debit or credit cards. I do not carry cash and do not have any on me unless I have it for a specific reason. The next week I let the front desk receptionist know my SO would be arriving shortly with a check for the facility. The receptionist looked at me and said “how long is it gonna be until I have the check?” Feeling uncomfortable I told her possibly 15 mins. She stood several feet away from me and again approached me to tell me my 15 minutes was up. I told her that my SO was running late and that I was going to have to go to the atm after practice due to this facilities strict rules that “PARENTS MAY NOT LEAVE MINOR CHILDREN ALONE AT ANY TIME”. The receptionist demanded that I go to the atm immediately to get the money. The entire experience made me so uncomfortable my daughter and I left after class and did not return.Today I woke up to several emails and phone calls from this same receptionist demanding payment for future classes and recital. I immediately got up and went to the atm and drove to the Ariel express facility.I was standing in the lobby with the cash in my hand. There was a woman in front of me being helped so I waited. That is when the receptionist said to me that “you must’ve gotten my email.” I confirmed that we did receive her email and had done the best we could to get there quickly. The receptionist looked up from her desk and said “you better watch your tone when you speak to me”. Being stunned I said “excuse me?” She continued screaming and claiming to be calling the police. The experience was bizarre and disturbing. I turned around and walked out. Please do not bring your children to this facility.
