BANDALOOP Reviews
My daughter has been taking hip hop lessons for a few years. The instructors are really engaging and the kids love going.
March 31 · Maurice WhittakerMy wife took their workshop and absolutely loved it. Great energy and lots of techniques and apparatus to try out.Not the best area in Oakland, but still plenty of parking outside and easy to find.
June 15 · Dennis DyckTheir classes and program are phenomenal.
May 17 · Sonia RussellBandaloop is probably the best-known aerial dance company in the bay area. You may have seen them bouncing off walls at festivals in Oakland or SF and not known it was them. If you haven't seen them, I recommend doing so.What I love about Bandaloop's style of aerial dance is I don't get all dizzy/nauseated like I do with other styles. I took a free workshop this summer as part of National Dance Week and it was AMAZING bouncing off their vertical trampoline wall.Yes, you read that right - an entire wall that's just one big trampoline you can run and jump on while you're hanging in the air sideways, parallel to the ground.Talked so much about it my friend is going to take one of their weekend workshops soon. I am so jealous!
