She takes an array of dance classes from hip hop to ballroom with the legend Betsy herself! She is also fortunate enough to take vocal lessons under the famous and beyond talented Ashley Daily! She has grown and thrived in many ways these past four years under the tutelage of Ashley and Betsy the owners of the studio. They have been nothing but kind and accommodating to my daughter who likes to call their place her second home! She is always welcomed warmly and the students are all so encouraging and inclusive, it's so refreshing to see! Couldn't endorse a better place to learn the arts on the mainline! January 22 · Kaitlyn ZitzerI have nothing but glowing and wonderful things to say about our experience at Betsy Daily School of Performing Arts. My daughter has been working with Ashley Daily, a vocal instructor at BDSOPA for 4 years now. Since starting with Ashley, she has written and recorded an original song, had countless opportunities to perform in front of live audiences, joined their Vocal Gold Team, and has grown leaps and bounds. This is a supportive and welcoming environment for ALL. Ashley and BDSOPA are amazing - 5 stars and beyond!!

January 17 · Lily AdlerBetsy Daily fosters nothing but toxicity. The instructors know to favor the company students (especially Betsy herself). The company students were always arrogant and would only socialize within their own cliques. I had crippling anxiety every class because I felt like such an outsider. There is no support for students who miss class due to illness or family-emergency matters. Things come up and if you miss a class (and miss learning more of the routine), the instructors berate and embarrass you in front of the class. I was made to perform the entire routine myself in front of my class after missing a couple of classes due to severe illness. I left in tears because it was so embarrassing. Could my teacher have offered additional time / support for me to get caught up? You would think so…Guess that’s asking for too much. Or maybe since my family couldn’t afford to put me in the company, it simply wasn’t a priority. There was a time a girl in my class had her point shoe pads rip and the teacher made her dance without point padding. She was clearly in so much pain and I remember thinking, “How is this ok”?I have more stories of my experiences at this horrible place but it is honestly traumatizing to recount everything.I loved dance. It was my passion at that time. It slowly became the thing I dreaded the most. The culture anywhere is so important. Unless you have the pretty penny to put your child into company here, I’d highly recommend you go elsewhere where everyone is welcome. It wasn’t even until I took one class with Betsy that she acknowledged my existence.I wish I could give 0 stars.EDIT (after reading owner’s response):You are correct, I danced here years ago and to this day, I tell people in this area my experiences at your studio. What inspired me to write my review? I met an ex-student of yours at my workplace and she also had horrible memories to share!Funny you say you provide videos of choreography for your students now because that’s actually a great idea. You provided NOTHING for me when I danced at your studio. You can deny I was made to perform in front of my class but it happened. No acknowledgment of the pointe shoe story I shared though… Hm.You have “generations” of dancers there because of the cycle of wealthy mainliners. Congrats. I was never respected at your studio and I strongly stand by my words.
