For dancers and their families in Pennsylvania, choosing a dancewear store is a critical decision, as it directly impacts comfort, performance, and even safety. DanceLine is a business that is worth choosing for several key reasons, most notably its deep-seated expertise and commitment to customer experience, especially in the highly specialized area of dance footwear. While one customer review highlights a negative experience with the return policy, it is important to balance this with the overwhelmingly positive feedback regarding the core services. The expertise of the staff in pointe and ballroom shoe fittings is an invaluable service that cannot be replicated by online shopping. As one customer review mentioned, having an "experienced dancer to help finding pointe shoes and patience are the two most important factors," and DanceLine delivers on both fronts. They carry hard-to-find brands and take the time to ensure a perfect, custom fit that is essential for preventing injury. This level of personalized attention is rare and incredibly beneficial, particularly for young, developing dancers. Furthermore, DanceLine’s commitment to being an LGBTQ+ friendly and transgender safe space makes it a truly welcoming place for everyone in the community. Their support for local dance charities and school teams also shows a genuine dedication to the arts, making your purchase feel like a contribution to the community. Despite any past issues with return policy communication, the core values of DanceLine—expert fitting, wide selection, and a supportive, inclusive environment—make it a superior choice for any dancer in the region, from the very first ballet class to the professional stage.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I bought my child shoes there today. It was clear we had never bought dance shoes before much less even gone to that store. I spent $100 there and a return policy was not mentioned at all. I got home and my husband tells me my in-laws already bought shoes for their grandchild for Christmas as a surprise. My husband calls the store to tell them this and says it's a long drive there, can we come return them today. They say yes so he drives all the way out there just to be told he can only have a store credit. Online it says footwear is returnable and mentions nothing of store credit. If they changed their policy it should have been stated while checking out and corrected on the website. This is horrible service! I'm now stuck with a $100 gift card to a very specific store that only sells dance ware with a child who has never even tried dance before and might not do it past this year. It feels very slimy to have a strict return policy and not even verbally mention it at check out to new customers. It is intentional to not be transparent. Super slimy business practice.
December 21 · Jordan ByrdLovely experience getting our second pair of pointe shoes at DanceLine. Owner was patient and knowledgeable and DanceLine carries hard to find brands as well as more common ones. Having an experienced dancer to help finding pointe shoes and patience are the two most important factors when we fit for pointe shoes.
December 23 · CH EWe've been coming to Dance Line for over 4 years now and have had a great experience every time! The service and selection are both awesome! We were there again tonight and especially appreciated the assistance (and kindness) from one sales associate in particular. :)
September 20 · Chrissy SirianniI have been coming to dance line for the past 6 years and have had a great experience each time! This year when getting fitted for a pair of pointe shoes, Miranda was very helpful and thorough. She made sure I had the perfect pair of pointe shoes by the time I left the store!
August 23 · Ruby ConnollyHorrible customer service by the owner no less. She has no idea what the difference between practice vs. Performance shoe, smooth vs. Rhythm shoes. She can't even tell the difference between euro vs US sizes. Owner can't even tell the difference between heel lengths and told me ballroom shoes don't come in a 2 inch heels.. Top top it off she didn't want to show me a pair of shoes because they were to expensive for me and then has the nerve to tell me I'm clueless.
