★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1My daughter and I were part of Bliss for the past 2-2.5 years. We recently moved out of state and we miss Bliss so much. When my daughter started at the age of 9, she took a rec class and then quickly joined the company. Half a year later I joined the company as well on a "for fun" adult team. I have so much respect for Fae, the owner and founder, her staff, and all of the Bliss kids. It's so meaningful to be a part of a space and place that values and teaches appreciation for the arts, hard work, respect, resilience, empathy, excellence, kindness, acceptance, self-love, accountability, etc etc etc. I could go on and on. We would not have left for any other reason than we physically moved out of the state. I highly recommend the studio! Be careful though, you'll become part of the Bliss Fam and never want to leave. Love you, Bliss!!!!!!!
February 25 · Robyn Mederichlove love love this studio! such a fun and amazing space for kids to challenge themselves physically and artistically. 10/10 would recommend!
July 27 · Collin SchmutzlerMy granddaughter started taking a class hear about 2 months ago. She is now part of the Bliss Dance Company and we are so excited for the journey. The staff is so professional and great with the kids. They make everyone feel welcomed and maintain a positive energy! I highly recommend them!
September 11 · Rachel NuttI went back and forth for a while about posting this. I think the business had potential but I was turned away when I physically visited and had the door closed in my face. Also my kids were not acknowledged by the choreographer in the small room during an audit type impromptu last minute watching session because we were told to come by Lex and then the next week Fae said we shouldn’t have came. My email was in answered for a week and my text was not answered until I physically showed up, interrupted the owner as she was breezing past me and my children and explained why I was there and how I came the week before. So physically showing up, emailing, and texting doesn’t work.I’m really protective of my children’s feelings and the choreographer didn’t recognize my children in a small room with about 12 chairs along the back and 2 choreographers and 4 children. They all introduced themselves and my kids weren’t apart of the energy. I think it seems like a good place with good people but the lack luster business practices and lack of customer service severely turn us off. My 6 year old is mildly traumatized from it because when I went on 5/27/24 I was told by someone who introduced themselves as “lex” told me to come 6/3/24 then when I arrived I was told that age group is on week 6 of 8 and my children would be behind but we can watch the kids in the back in the small room. I should have left then and there but I brought the them back to an unfamiliar place and we were not escorted nor introduced nor did we receive any kind of tour and the owner walked pass me and my children and I had to stop her to talk to her asking “if she was fae”. Fae seems sweet and the facility looks nice but for those reasons/ infractions I can not see how I can bring my kids back or support a local business I seen in Vacaville magazine. I was treated very rudely for no reason and several bad decisions were made by the owner. She said “lex didn’t know what she was doing, and I was gone for the holiday”. Well the studio was open on the holiday and I waltz right in, only to be turned away, handed a business card (she slightly withdrew it when I said I seen the website), and have the door slammed in my face when I walked outside. Why would you have somebody “that doesn’t know what they’re doing” in charge of the studio and slamming doors in potential new customers faces? Additionally Fae was not told by Lex that I visited, because she didn’t take any of my information and no one followed up. My email and text were only answered that following week when I physically visited again, against my good conscience and giving the benefit of the doubt, only to be let down again by poor customer service. I gave 2 stars because I called and spoke to Fae after we left and she seemed like she was trying to fix things and admitted fault in some places like she should’ve walked us back to the small room. After the long and petty nonprofessional reply on yelp, I reduced it to one star. It is mind-boggling that somebody turns away business like that and mocks upset parents. What parent wouldn’t be upset when a place of business gives the wrong information, and when the parent shows up exactly like the place of business told them, they say something else? With three kids 6 and under who don’t understand why the business would tell a lie to the customer. That’s all they know is that for a week they were told they’d be going to their first dance class ever and then they show up and they have to watch. Hopefully this interaction helps you lean six sigma your business practices. Way to turn me away.
June 07 · Cyrah HawkinsFae does a great job and has turned Bliss into its own community/family. The directors are very good and professional. And the performances are always very good!
