Hoff Family Arts & Culture Center Introduce
The Hoff Family Arts & Culture Center, managed by Pottawattamie Arts, Culture & Entertainment (PACE), is a massive 95,000-square-foot facility in Council Bluffs, Iowa, that serves as the premier hub for visual, performing, and culinary arts in Southwest Iowa. The center represents a stunning revitalization of the historic McCormick Harvesting Machine Company building, originally built in 1894, beautifully integrated with a new, state-of-the-art wing that includes a contemporary performance venue.
Far more than just an art gallery, the Hoff Center is a multi-use complex that houses several independent non-profit arts organizations, creating a vibrant ecosystem of creativity all under one roof. Its mission is to enrich, inspire, and energize the community by strengthening and promoting arts, culture, and connections. This collaborative environment offers Iowa residents an unprecedented access point to diverse artistic disciplines, from professional ballet to community theater and visual arts exhibitions.
The facility’s design is a feature in itself, blending the rustic brick, exposed beams, and vintage charm of the original warehouse with modern, meticulous finishes and spacious areas, providing a unique and highly photogenic backdrop for everything from art exhibitions to large-scale events.
The Hoff Family Arts & Culture Center is centrally located in the historic Haymarket District of Council Bluffs, Iowa. Its location is a cornerstone for the district’s revitalization and serves as a cultural landmark easily reached by residents across the Council Bluffs and greater Omaha metropolitan area.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I photographed a wedding here and the Hoff Center is absolutely fantastic. Really spacious and beautiful to photograph. Lots of room for bride and groom to get ready. It has a swanky, yet vintage vibe. All the staff members were so nice, too!
January 30 · Cindy McAndrewWent for our first ballet experience to see The Nutcracker and it was outstanding! The space is large and meticulous. The employees are so courteous. The bar has amazing drinks and hot chocolate or apple cider for the kids. The ballet was everything I ever hoped for!!
November 21 · Daydreanne LoftisAttended the PBS Historic Buildings of CB documentary preview this evening, which is the first time I've attended an event here.Very, very impressed with the historic vibe of the building.Unfortunately, the volume in the theater was incredibly loud for this significantly hard of hearing person who doesn't wear hearing aids.My elderly mother, who does wear hearing aids, had to turn them down quite a bit.It did seem early on, the volume may have been adjusted down a fraction or two, but still much more loud than necessary.
November 08 · Lisa W HoultI went to a reception over the weekend that was held at this venue. Extremely nice staff and the renovated brick and mortar building set for the perfect foundation to the wedding decor.
October 20 · Maureen Egermier BuildersOur daughter had her wedding and reception at this venue this past weekend. The staff went above and beyond to make her day as stress free as possible. They did an amazing job changing the area for the wedding ceremony to the reception relatively fast. It is a beautiful place.
