January 10 · Heather HowertonThis is an absolutely gorgeous space that exudes a very peaceful and serene energy. Dana takes the time to bring in various intercultural artists teaching different styles of dance. Her company‘s mission statement very much mirrors my own making dance and movement accessible for everybody! I was very happy to finally visit for the first time.
December 02 · Bella Diva World DanceI love dancing at iBody in Denver. I’ve been coming here since it opened a few years ago. I love the people here. If you’re new in town, and want a great workout with great people...this is the place. The spotless studio is huge and gorgeous. Conveniently located in central Denver. I live downtown and it’s so close to me. I love that it is easy to access off I-25 in both directions. The owner Dana is a black belt in NIA. If you’ve never done NIA before, you owe it to yourself to try it.It’s addicting. The friends I’ve met there are wonderful. It’s a very friendly and welcoming community.Did I mention, it’s a great workout??
May 02 · Lauren LemosWith a long history of competitive running and lots of high intensity exercise (and a bit of yoga), I stepped into iBODY with the belief that I didn’t know how to dance (and I probably wouldn’t get much of a workout). Through dancing with Dana and experiencing the beautiful practice of Nia, this story quickly shifted into a freedom that has totally shifted my life. iBODY leaves my body feeling alive and healthy from the movement and my heart feeling full from connection with an incredibly supportive community. I work in the mental health field, and iBODY has become my sanctuary to recharge midday during the week. When I get in my car to drive to the studio, I can feel my body, mind, and spirit taking a giant breath knowing it will soon get exactly what it needs, whatever it may be on that day. With so much more confidence to move with power and grace, both on and off the dance floor, I have energy and an open heart to fully engage in my life (and it helps that I feel in the best physical shape I’ve ever been!)
