★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Our daughter danced at Juliart Dance for 16 years. She had a wonderful experience and is still studying dance, now in a university BFA program. The Juliart instructors are incredibly talented, knowledgeable, and committed to the dancer's development, pushing them to reach their full potential while in a supportive and fun environment.Super cute programs for little ones and then as they get older there is an opportunity to audition to be on a competitive team. The choreography is fresh, age appropriate, innovative, and challenging, ensuring that they are always learning and evolving as dancers. The dancers also learn about teamwork, time management, public performance and discipline. These skills show both in and out of the studio.
April 03 · DanaWe absolutely love this dance studio! From the moment we walked in, it felt like a second home. The staff is kind, professional, and incredibly supportive. Both of my daughters have grown so much here—not just in their dance skills, but in their confidence as well. It’s such a welcoming and positive environment, and we’re so grateful to be part of it. Highly recommend.
June 18 · Torey RouillonThis is my daughter’s 12th year of dance at Juliart Dance Studio. She started in the 4-year-old ballet/tap split class (a wonderful option for a new dancer!!!) and now practices many styles of dance as a senior company dancer. Throughout these years, not only have I watched her grow as a dancer, but also gain skills she uses off stage as well. Additionally, I have watched the studio evolve and grow these past few years under new ownership. Whether you’re looking for a fun introduction to dance for your little, or more involved and disciplined practice for the serious dancer, I recommend Juliart Dance Studio!
April 07 · Andrea HuffmanOur 3Y daughter has been a student there for almost a year. The song chosen for a 3Y/4Y recital is “it’s raining men”…. After discussing with family and friends on their opinion of this and receiving overwhelming feedback on how strange, tacky and bizarre the song choice is when there are so many other good disco songs that are more appropriate.(My daughter is asking us to explain what the song means… how do you explain that in a way a 3y understands?)When we called to discuss with the owner ..1) was told that she felt attacked and disrespected because we stated that we felt the song choice was tacky and bizarre.. no offense but if you own a dance studio your JOB is to make sure kids and parents feel comfortable. She states the song is only a metaphor for an abundance of relationships possible… what does that even mean? How many of you have listened to that song and thought “oh this is a good song for little kids to dance too” what?!2) she questioned “why would you discuss the song choice with family and friends… “what kind of question is that? That question alone seems like something is off!The dance studio owner is asking why we decided to discuss the song choice with our families… does that seem like an appropriate question for anyone to ask of anyone?i had my family sitting at the table when i made the call.. very disappointing this is the leader of a dance studio leading children and how they react to a parents concern. Instead of addressing the concern, she just flipped the focus on her ego and us “attacking” the song choice and stated no other parents have a concern..It’s a tacky, bizarre and odd song choice for 3y when there are so many better options. If you can’t speak openly to the people that you are paying, for a program, for young children- in order to make sure you feel comfortable.. then that shouldn’t be a place where your children are learning .She stated they won’t change the song and our daughter can change classes. Disappointing and discouraging that the thought someone literally thought this was a fun choice for 3Y’s… it’s just weird and strange!!
April 01 · Sean DegnoreThis is my daughter’s second year at Juliart and she loves this studio! She looks forward to going to dance every week. The teachers are incredibly caring, welcoming and knowledgeable. We love Juliart!!
