Perot Theatre Introduce
Welcome to the Perot Theatre, a true cultural icon and a crown jewel of Texarkana, Texas. Since its opening in 1924, this magnificent building has served as a central hub for entertainment, bringing a diverse array of live performances to the community. Originally known as the Saenger Theatre, it was meticulously restored and reopened in 1980, thanks in part to a generous contribution from Texarkana native H. Ross Perot. Today, the Perot Theatre stands as a testament to the city's rich history and its vibrant future in the performing arts.
More than just a venue, the Perot Theatre is an experience. Its stunning Italian Renaissance design, with ornate paintings, hand-crafted plasterwork, and gold leaf trim, provides a breathtaking backdrop for every event. It's a place where you can feel the history while enjoying a modern and engaging performance. As the primary performance venue for the Texarkana Symphony Orchestra and a host for the Texarkana Community Ballet and the Texarkana Regional Arts and Humanities Council's productions, the theatre is a cornerstone of the arts in our region. We are proud to be a family-friendly destination, with a variety of shows that are "good for kids," ensuring that all ages can share in the magic of live performance.

April 15 · MelFirst time at the Perot Theatre. We saw A Taste of Ireland. Employees were especially nice. The theatre is beautiful. The performance was great. Will definitely be watching for another show I feel I would enjoy.
March 27 · Joy LucasA beautiful 100 year old theater! Comfortable seats and spacious! My first time there and it was amazing.
October 26 · Amber SticeThis is a rare Volvo on the street. We had two vehicles of this brand. And loved each one. The Jurassic movie with a concert was expensive. But we'll worth it. It felt like when these musicians make music for the big movie productions. This was there second time doing this. What was cool was the great standing ovation. The bathrooms for the venue doesn't work for such a large crowd. Needs somebody to come up with a plan.
March 19 · Barrett PickettThe beautiful Perot Theater in Texarkana! I saw Jay Leno last Saturday night. Such a great show!
