Rachel's Ballet Reviews
My daughters adore their elementary level ballet teachers and fun in some classes (involving choreography for upcoming performances) and are challenged in their technique focused classes. The elementary level teachers seem quite lovely and know how to challenge the students while making ballet enjoyable. My daughters have been taking lessons here for many years. I have two minor complaints. There is no administrative staff on site helpful administrator is available by email though. Also, the small lobby gets very crowded with parents, students and bags so that there is little room for the children to sit down and put on their shoes before and after some of the lower level ballet classes. So, parents need to find some other place to wait, such as the nearby Starbucks in the afternoons or in their cars in the evenings since Starbucks closes before the ballet school closes.
October 18 · Marian SoWow! Extremely impressive school & students. I know Rachel's husband from work and had met Rachel once so I got an invite to the 2010 Nutcracker production by Rachel's Ballet. I expected something small & cute--not at all professional. I was a little shocked to find that the theater seated 1500+ and was filled to capacity. The show was amazing--on par or even better than shows I've seen at the major theaters in San Francisco. Rachel & her students earned a well deserved standing ovation. Highly recommended for students of dance.
