★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I can't say enough great things about Sou Samba! From the moment I walked in, I felt an incredible sense of warmth and community. The environment is so welcoming — it truly feels like a second home. Welsei, the instructor, is hands down the best I've ever had. Not only is he incredibly skilled and knowledgeable, but his passion for dance is contagious. He has a unique ability to break down complex moves in a way that's easy to understand, and his teaching style is both fun and inspiring. He creates a supportive atmosphere where everyone, no matter their skill level, feels encouraged to grow. Whether you're a seasoned dancer or just starting out, Sou Samba is the place to be! Highly recommend!

November 19 · Abby FrenchBeen taking their classes on and off for two years, and done Carnival with them. Absolutely amazing people, great knowledge of Samba and its history, and good teaching. It feels like you join a community when you take their classes.
April 13 · Cynthia OI love Sou Samba Studios, is so beautiful, the vibe and the community is great! Weslei is one of the most talented samba teachers we have the honor to have in the Bay, his classes are so fun, he is very patient and he make it look so easy! Also Celeste she is an amazing samba teacher! I've been learning so much from them. And is the ONLY place in the Bay you'll find Gafiera/Forró and bolero classes, so don't miss the opportunity to learn from the them!
November 19 · Ximena Torres DíazWe are so fortunate in the Bay Area to have Sou Samba Studios to offer authentic Brazilian Culture.Weslei and Celeste have really taken the reins to cultivate good vibes all around - just a lovely community that is just so welcoming, caring and sincere. From the moment you walk into the studio, everyone is so warm and inviting. Not to mention, there is gorgeous artwork, captivating photography and Brazilian artifacts throughout the studio that will certainly catch your attention. Now onto the dancing...So much to choose from: There's Brazilian dance where teachers rotate week to week to teach various forms of Samba and other popular Brazilian Dances, Forro, Gafieira (which are both partner dances, but you don't need to bring a partner!), and now Capoeira. What I love is that everyone feels welcomed. And keep an eye on the schedule, because they also present master instructors from Brazil too!Looking forward to what the next year has in store. Parabéns Sou Samba!
