★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1My daughter was absolutely delighted! I haven't seen such a sparkle in her eyes for a long time! Our first experience with St. Pete MAD was at a summer camp. The whole process was clearly organized. We had the opportunity to be in contact with the studio's teachers and receive feedback! In addition to acting classes, the children had time to spend time outdoors. In just a week, kids & teachers put on a wonderful performance.Excellent work! Now, we are thinking about continuing our further cooperation :)
June 17 · Kateryna YevstihnieievaI could not be more grateful for my time as a student at St. Pete MAD. Not only have I been able to grow in my skills and passion for the performing arts, but I have also received the opportunity to develop leadership & collaborative capabilities that I will continue to utilize for years to come. The knowledge I have gained in music, acting, dance, choreography, stage production, and more is something I have been able to apply to activities both in and out of school, from producing superior-winning Thespian events to choreographing & performing in school productions. My favorite part of my experience at SPMAD will always be the strong sense of community within the program. The casts & crews that work together to produce each successful production become like family, and I've met some of my closest friends through the program.Overall, the program and instructors do an amazing job at not only educating youth in the many diverse aspects of the performing arts, but also in providing personalized instruction for students of all ages and skills levels. There is always an opportunity for every student to shine.
January 30 · Alexa GriffinMy daughter had an amazing experience with St. Pete MAD in the Debut Cast. The program was organized and the entire production was so professional. She loved and respected her instructors and had a wonderful time performing. We look forward to many more experiences with this great program. Highly recommend!
May 09 · Joann BurnettOur daughter’s six-year journey with St. Pete MAD has been nothing short of transformative. The impact of her time there is now so evident in her everyday life, especially as she navigates her first year of high school with confidence, poise, and resilience. From leading high school clubs to trying new activities and speaking in front of large groups, the skills and self-assurance she’s gained from St. Pete MAD are shining through. The creative outlets offered at St. Pete MAD have been incredible: music lessons in violin, guitar, and voice; comedy improv; acting in musicals; and even backstage tech work like managing soundboards and mics. These opportunities allowed her to explore and grow in ways we never imagined.Perhaps the most cherished aspect is the community she’s found. The friendships she’s made here are deeply meaningful and have given her a sense of belonging and support. St. Pete MAD has truly helped her fall in love with theater and equipped her with skills and memories that will last a lifetime. We’re so grateful for the role they’ve played in her life! And ours as a family!
January 20 · Sasha ChurchA couple years ago we signed up my two daughters to try acting in the Broadway Bound program with St Pete MAD in a performance of Polar Express. As someone with little to no theater experience I didn’t know what to expect. From the very first rehearsal I noticed a change in both of my girls as I watched them become more and more confident and they immersed themselves in this program. Fast forward a few years and both of them have not missed a single play since with St Pete MAD and we are getting ready for our 10th play, The Addams Family! To say that this program has changed our families lives is an understatement. This is literally all my kidstalk about and every single one of their friends now are from the friends they have made on stage. From Dru’s overall vision to the excellent vocal coaching they receive with Margaret to the acting, choreography and dance instruction they receive from all of the talented directors, this program has it all.We are so excited that St Pete MAD has gotten their own space in GulfPort and we are all in on the future of this program. Thank you St Pete MAD for being a beacon of light for my kids!
