Choosing a dance school is a significant decision for any family, and Winners Circle Breakdance School is a fantastic option for several compelling reasons. The primary reason is the studio’s dedication to instilling a positive mindset in its students. The instructors and owners go above and beyond, focusing not just on dance moves but on building character, confidence, and discipline. This holistic approach to teaching is what makes the studio a truly special place and a valuable investment in a child’s development. The passion and engagement seen in students, as highlighted in a glowing review, are direct results of this supportive environment. While a customer review did bring up a valid concern about the high cost and lack of financial aid, a critical point for a culture rooted in low-income communities, it is a point that the studio can hopefully address in the future to become even more inclusive. Winners Circle Breakdance School Reviews
My son recently attended a class here and absolutely loved it. I’ve never seen him so focused, passionate, and engaged. The instructor was professional, encouraging, and created a great space for the kidos to thrive! However, I was disappointed to learn that there are no scholarships or financial aid options available. Dance schools often offer these. The program costs $140-$180/month with an $80 enrollment fee, which makes it difficult for many low-income or income-based families to participate. I reached out about possible waivers or support, but didn’t get a clear response. This was especially surprising to me given that breaking itself has such strong roots in low-income Black and Brown communities. It’s a form of self-expression that should be accessible, not just for those who can afford it, but for the communities that actually created the breaking culture. There is so much untapped talent in these communities, and programs like this have the potential to change lives, but they have to be inclusive. I even shared an organization that sponsor young entrepreneurs and sponsor their businesses, covering costs for things like this, so they aren't losing income, but I didn't hear back. I hope the team considers implementing scholarships, partnerships, or sponsorships to expand access. The talent and culture are already here, they just need a way for the ones who put it on the map to get back into it! 🧡
