Colorado Movement Lab Reviews
Colorado Movement Lab is a great community of dancers and teachers. I have enjoyed both adult ballet classes and contemporary movement classes there. I came to dance later in life and the folks at CML make me feel really welcome as an adult beginner. The studios are really beautiful and the place just has really good vibes, like very supportive and not judgmental at all. Plus there are some amazing, inspiring dancer-teachers there as well.
June 08 · Ethan CowanFrom the first time I walked into CML as an adult returner after having a stroke, I have experienced nothing but supportive teachers and amazing community. A lot of studios talk big about offering adult classes, but don’t follow through; not so at CML! Multiple offerings each day, and every teacher is top-notch. My dance classes are better than any physical and occupational therapy I’ve ever had.My can’t miss classes are healing ballet with Rebecca, Modern with Chris, and tap with Caitlin (a new and excellent addition!). Adults are folded into the community instead of being an afterthought. I heard a young dancer recently describe CML as being her safe space, and I agree - it’s a safe space that encourages creativity and risk-taking, equality (no one person is better than anyone else), and friendship. I have dance friends of all ages and abilities at CML, and it is by far my favorite place to go every time I have class.Keep up the excellent work, CML gang!
July 20 · Kai RasmussenThe adult program is on point! Every class is top notch. Shout out to Rebeca, her classes are so dope! Her combinations are challenging and her energy is better than a cup of coffee! There is so much support and care at CML. I’m always happy I went to class!
July 19 · Heather SuttonIf you or anyone you know is remotely interested in dance, this is the place to be. The entire studio is incredibly inclusive, and the teaching staff is phenomenal. On top of that, the performances they put out for nutcracker and their May festival are absolutely next level. Definitely check it out!
July 19 · Cameron RosénMy daughter, Adia had been dancing since she was 3 at the Arvada Center. We were looking for new places for her to dance for more experience and more opportunities. We found CML, which has been completely amazing for us. Adia has learned so much more there. CML has been very good to her. They have such amazing and experienced instructors that take the time to really help Adia grow as a dancer. We have found a dancing home for Adia and she loves it there. We can't see her dancing anywhere else.
