What is worth choosing
When considering a dance studio in the Brighton area, local residents will find that Dancer's Edge offers a comprehensive program with a strong emphasis on community and performance. The positive feedback from a long-time member's family speaks volumes about the studio's welcoming nature. The reviewer notes that over a 12-year period, the studio has made them feel "so welcomed and excited to watch dance," and that the staff is excellent at preparing dancers and their families for showcases and competitions. This highlights a key benefit: the studio’s dedication to not just the dancer, but the entire family's experience. For a parent, knowing that their child and family will be part of a supportive and organized environment is a top priority.
However, it is important to consider all perspectives. The negative reviews, while contrasting, also offer valuable insight. A reviewer's critique about the studio's "cliquey" atmosphere and a perceived focus on the owner rather than the students points to a potential downside that some families may experience. The mention of an inconvenient performance location in Greeley also raises a valid concern about logistics for families, as spending an entire Saturday driving for a show can be a major commitment. These points suggest that while the studio offers a great experience for some, it may not be the right fit for every family's specific needs or values.
Despite these potential drawbacks, Dancer's Edge continues to be a popular choice in the community, with a history of positive reviews and awards. Its strength lies in its ability to teach a variety of dance skills and provide numerous performance opportunities, which are crucial for a dancer’s development. The studio's commitment to building confidence and self-esteem through dance is a core value that resonates with many families. The fact that the studio has a long-standing history and a well-established competitive team is also a testament to its quality and stability. For families in Colorado who prioritize a structured program with a focus on competition and a strong, team-oriented environment, Dancer's Edge could be a great choice. It is a place where dancers can hone their skills, build lasting friendships, and participate in high-energy shows and competitions.

Dancer's Edge Reviews
My sister has been part of this studio for 12 years and has absolutely enjoyed it. As a sibling of a dancer the staff and other dancers have made me feel so welcomed and excited to watch dance. The staff has always put together amazingly organized showcases for family and friends to watch as well as prepared dancers and families for competition season.
December 06 · Akira Katelyn OlsonThe entire place is very "cliquey," from the team dancers to the adults. I should've figured it out when the entire theme of the winter program was an autobiography of the owner. Seriously, how egotistical are you?For the spring program, some genius decided to have it in Greeley. So our entire Saturday was basically spent driving from Brighton to Greeley multiple times for no reason. You can't tell me there wasn't an auditorium available closer. For all I know they teach good skills. But this place is not for the kids. They're for themselves, and the team dancers.
May 05 · Doug HanerMy daughter and I absolutely love Dancers Edge! She felt welcomed immediately and is progressing in her dance skills immensely. The teachers care for the children in the form of dance as well as their overall well being. I see them staying late all the time making sure everyone is where they are supposed to be or if they need someone to talk to, well they do that too! Wonderful group of people that I am blessed to have my daughter learn and grow from.
