It is a true gem in Western Connecticut, providing a level of instruction often associated with major metropolitan areas, led by professional faculty with extensive Broadway and industry experience. The mission is to deliver a clear, enlightened education in a nurturing, inclusive atmosphere that fosters creativity and lifelong appreciation for the arts.
Co-founded by industry veterans like Astaire Award and Tony Award winners Elizabeth Parkinson and Scott Wise, FineLine benefits from a near-endless repertoire of professional experience. They have created a supportive environment where students not only develop strong technical skills but also build confidence, self-discipline, and a positive attitude. The studio is widely celebrated by local families, with many referring to it as their child’s "second home" and praising the inspirational passion for the arts that is instilled in their children from a young age.

September 15 · Wanessa AndersonThe best place for your little performer to grow into a big one!!!This is my daughters second home!I have enjoyed watching her grow up and grow in skill as a dancer for the past 5 years!Elizabeth and Scott have created a gem of a performing arts school ❤️
October 11 · Lina OrozcoWhen you sign your kids up for summertime camp you expect the theature to focus on the fun factor, which did not happen for my two girls. By the third day, my kids didnt want to go back. My neighbors had a similar experience with their kids as well. Instructors were nervy and strict. On the first day we dropped off the kids, one instructor was already planning a martini at the end of the day implying they were already stressed out ...and the day hadn't even started. That was a red flag. They wouldnt honor a refund even though we only used a couple of days out of a 3 week program. No phone response, no email response as well. I find that unacceptable. I would never treat my clients like this. I would never go back to this theatre. Terrible experience and this is my firsy negative review ever posted on google. They get 1 star for smiling at the door when you walk in.
