★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I love this school! My daughter has been learning and growing here since she was 3 years old. Ariel who runs the front desk is so warm and loving to all that enter. The climate at this school allows for a healthy thriving learning environment where the whole child can develop and be prepared for the whole world at large. This school is bigger than ballet, it's bigger than dance. They build future leaders. Thank you for all you do!
October 07 · Mich SpenceThe best ballet school inNortheast Atlanta. Ariel is very welcoming and always have a pleasant smile. I knew this is where I wanted my daughter to excel from the very first day I made the call for inquiries. Thank you guys for the excellent services being provided and the warm family feeling there is with both staff members and students.
November 28 · QKD ROYALTIESWe enrolled my daughter to support gymnastics. We did not like the sub par customer service as it was very inconsistent to parents and children. My daughter made the most of the classes but I don't think it was a good fit for her. As a parent, I'd like my daughter to be in a place more welcoming and nurturing and this wasn't it... they seem more concerned with making money, selling tickets for the nut cracker, and maintaining a ful class. I think they have an advantage because there aren't many ballet studios in the area but it'd be worth the commute to find somewhere more child centered, customer-service focused, and nurturing than anything else. I wouldn't recommend. We went to the grayson location in the the publix plaza.
September 30 · Sahirah DeanMy daughter loves the classes, the staff and the fun! So do I! Great experience for little ones. It's nice to see the parents engaged in the arts. Everyone that works there is incredibly patient, and they find the perfect balance of professionalism and firmness to keep the little ladies in order. I definitely recommend it!
December 17 · B ConnerMarsha and Jennifer Gordon have zero business dealing with young children. I have a child with disabilities, and Jennifer shamed her (an 8 year old girl!) for not being able to tie pointe shoes when she first got them in front of her peers. We spent two years at Grayson School of Ballet and loved every bit of it except dealing with Marsha and Jennifer. They also threatened not to allow a little girl to dance in her recital for having missed two classes due to family illness… in a pandemic. When told she could not dance, they refused to take back and refund the costumes and recital fees.Marsha also called screaming about the same little girl not being at dress rehearsal for the Nutcracker when she was misinformed… she called when my child was not even scheduled to be there. When she finally stopped yelling to check her own records, she realized her mistake and simply left it as “sorry for being a you know what.”They also shamed all the students not to eat too much for Thanksgiving… it’s NONE of their business what these children eat, and that’s unhealthy behavior that leads to eating disorders. They should know better!!!!Jennifer refused to answer basic questions about details of when to pick up a child from a performance… either because she doesn’t know or because the world is beneath her. It seems like the latter. These two women have absolutely forgotten all common decency and who their customer is in the depths of a pandemic. Shame on them for shaming a child with disabilities and their overall horrible attitude toward young children altogether. Unless you like your child to come home crying after a class with Jennifer, avoid this place. (Or make sure your dancer never has Jennifer as an instructor.) my daughter has been dancing for 5 years and never had these issues before. She’s always loved dancing (and still does) aside from interaction with the dance tyrants. It was a hard year in Jennifer’s class, and my daughter wanted to quit every week. I’ve tried talking to Jennifer twice to get her to understand disabilities (even though her disabilities do not impede her ability to dance, rather it takes her a little longer to pick up steps only the first time and it was hard for her to do fine motor things like tying pointe shoes) but to no avail. We kept trying to come back because their office manager, Ariel, is wonderful and the other instructors are nice. Jennifer Gordon is going to tank this dance school if left to her own rude devices.
