★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Recently had my first class here and Chrissy was amazing!I took previous classes in another state, over a year ago and was nervous about doing it again after being away from it for over a year, and having had a baby during that time.Chrissy and the others in the class were so encouraging and helped me celebrate the small victory of even showing up.The vibe was so positive and inclusive.✨️High frequency energies✨️I love the lights being dimmed to not only help with self conscious bodies but to also set the mood for a relaxing workout. Will be back 🖤
April 04 · Ashley JoyI took a pole foundation class and Violette did a great job instructing our small class (5 people). I wasn't the only newbie, so alternating the moves to what was comfortable was a huge plus.I'm not super coordinated nor had the initial stretch to pull myself on the pole, but I had fun. Quite the workout if not used to using such muscles! Ow.Highly recommend!
February 29 · Jackie EThis is my first time doing any kind of dance class and after about 3 months (just doing pole as of now), I’m obsessed! The studio is gorgeous and clean. It feels like a little escape from reality in the best possible way.I haven’t had all the instructors yet but the ones I’ve had have all been great in their own ways. If it’s a smaller class, they really spend a lot of time making sure everyone is able to do each move. Even the larger classes (of 6) have a good degree of personalization and regardless of size, I’ve always gotten something out of it.My one note is that classes do get canceled quite a bit (if there’s not at least 3 people signed up, it gets canceled) which can make it hard to plan for sometimes. But if your schedule is flexible there’s always alternatives you can sign up for!The community is great and supportive and no one is judgmental which is amazing. It’s very newbie-friendly.I’m getting muscles I never even knew existed and it’s so cool seeing what my body can do! It’s not for everyone, but if you’re even curious about pole or aerial, I highly recommend giving it a try!
October 23 · Ashley HoffmanI'm going to list some negatives and positives. The studio is beautiful and clean. The class schedule has a nice variety of classes to choose from, but if only 1 person signed up, then expect the class to get canceled. A few of the teachers here don't really give much feedback, so it makes it hard to know if you're doing the moves right or progressing. Sometimes, there are more people than there are poles, so you have to share, which doesn't make the class worth it for me personally. The best classes get booked pretty fast on the schedule, so if you can make it in, you'll have a good time. Also, from personal experience, some(only some, not all!) of the classes did not feel inclusive or like they were creating a safe place for you to be yourself. Some of the teachers are wonderful, though, and truly great at teaching. I only rate 3 stars because I've had a mixed experience.
August 08 · Tara BMora is so much more than just a dance studio. The community is truly special. Everyone is supportive and positive and we have so much fun in class. I’m an introvert, but I come alive here. This is the best place to unwind after a crazy day. I’ve been coming here for years and will continue forever. The studio itself is clean, smells good, and has a warm, inviting vibe. Each instructor has something that makes them unique and they tailor their classes to who is taking them. If you’ve been doing pole/aerial a long time, or if you’re completely new? Doesn’t matter. You’re welcome here. Come hang out with us! You won’t regret it.
