★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Pittsburgh School of the Arts is the BEST place in Pittsburgh to take private music lessons—whether you're learning classical music, theory, or worship. I grew up taking piano, guitar, and voice lessons here, and I grew so much in my skill, knowledge, and confidence. Kate (the owner) is the best, the teachers are amazing, and it truly is such a great community to be part of. I HIGHLY recommend PSA to anyone looking to further their skills or just starting out on their musical journey!!!
June 24 · Rachel HorneMy daughter started in Fall of 2024 in the 5 year old Piano Group. Her and her classmates have learned and had so much fun along the way. Barb knew how to connect so well with this age and balance the fun and lessons. My daughter is now in the early stages of reading music and playing piano! We love this school so much.
May 22 · Kate WagnerMy daughter had a wonderful experience with her group piano lessons with Mrs Becky. She helped my very timid kid gain a love of music, but also more confidence in herself. This skill also has helped her excel in her music classes at school and learn additional instruments.
May 01 · Teri GrumskiEveryone is wonderful here. Instructors are great. My kids are taking the exploratory lessons-they love it. They get to learn a little about different instruments. A nice introduction! Destin LeCornu, Angela Farster and Kate Griffin are all fantastic! Highly recommend!
March 01 · Michelle PawI have a son who is taking piano lessons and a daughter taking voice. We love it there! The environment and teachers are all so kind and encouraging. It's a great place and I would highly recommend it!
