★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I’ve been training at Pole Pressure consistently for a few weeks now (but I’ve come to classes sporadically while visiting DC for the past three years) and I’m so happy that this studio exists. The teachers are well-trained, professional and patient, and they each have an awesome grasp of pole dance technique. They also give awesome suggestions and recommendations that have helped me significantly in my pole dancing journey. They have never made me feel discouraged or less than for making mistakes or being less advanced than others. The studio is also incredibly queer friendly and is located on a major bus line! Even though classes can be physically challenging and demanding, I always enjoy coming and learning something new. I’m so excited to call Pole Pressure my new pole dancing home after recently moving to the area!
July 28 · Z SI've been coming to Pole Pressure for a few years and really love the studio! Everyone here is really inviting and friendly. The owner, Devon, goes out of her way to create community. The classes are super popular, so you gotta be on top of your registration. The pole, lyra, and sensual pole classes are all fantastic! Controversial opinion is that I actually like the late policy- the classes are an hour which goes by quickly, so I actually appreciate it as it makes sure we start on time and everyone is safe. Devon is extremely understanding, so I'm certain if I was unavoidably late she'd give me the class credit back to be used at a future time. If you're reading this review, you should come dance with us!
August 05 · Valerie OliphantClasss was amazingggg with Ms. Devon! She was super nice and super supportive to us being beginners lol. We definitely plan to come back!
August 03 · Tierra HopkinsThe beginner foundation series is the perfect introduction to pole basics and it was great to be able to build upon each skill. After completing the series, I had a fairly good understanding of which level class was appropriate for me to take next. Andrew is a great instructor and made class safe and fun. He is great at uplifting and supporting students and I will definitely be back to take his classes!
May 30 · Belle ChiuReally enjoyed my experience here. The instructors are knowledgeable and friendly. Great atmosphere for anyone looking to learn pole fitness or dance. Clean studio and good class variety.
