February 03 · Folasade OgunmokunSoka Tribe is a whole vibe. Not only is it a dance community, it’s a workout party on Saturdays, it’s a posse of dope individuals with a passion for life, and most importantly it’s a home for me. I’ve been hooked since 2018 and I am here to stay. Looking forward to traveling with the Tribe and planting our flag in new destinations we will travel to soon! I highly recommend checking out Soka Tribe if you’re looking for a fun workout, a new social network, or just adding more life to your days! You‘ll be glad you did!
February 01 · FolaSade PyneI wish I could give 6 stars! I have been looking for a dance workout class that gave a great workout while being super fun and finally found it after trying several. Others just have salsa steps that don't do much for my body and are hard to follow, but this class is vigorous, easy to follow, welcoming, and so much fun! Attendance was great and the class was really engaging, while also giving space for each participant to modify if needed. I also learned so much about Caribbean dance, and loved the music! I've been singing it all week and can't wait to go back.
October 10 · Ruth KingsburySoka tribe is an amazing place to let loose, feel free, and get a good work out in with amazing people all at the same time! Even if you’re a first timer they make you feel super welcome, don’t be surprised if you end up leaving class with a little more confidence and a new community to connect with. Been going from 2019 and I feel the same way every time.
January 30 · Jen RuttySoka Tribe is an amazing workout and community all in one! They let you move at your own pace during classes doing what works best for you, with no judgement, all while cheering you on with all the positivity and energy. The music and the people are fantastic. You leave class not only feeling like you got an awesome workout but also feeling ready to conquer the rest of the day. This is hands down the most energizing workout class in the city, and they also host specialized events all around DC for all ages!
