★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Our daughter started Tutu School Halcyon at just 8 months old, and now, nearly 2, she’s grown so much! The classes have helped her build confidence, coordination, and creativity in the most joyful and nurturing environment. She also loves socializing with the other dancers. We’re so thankful for the positive impact it’s had on her early development! Also we love love love Mrs. Kate. She is so full of life! Love this studio so much 💕
July 13 · Amada Cabrera-GleasonMy daughter has been attending Tutu school at Halcyon and she absolutely loves it. Every week she looks forward to wearing her favorite princess leotard and ballerina slippers. The teachers there are very sweet and knowledgeable and make the lessons fun and educational. After having a bad experience at another ballet academy my 4 year old daughter no longer wanted to dance. I searched for another ballet school since she continued to show much interest in dancing like a ballerina and asking for YouTube videos so she could practice. I came across Tutu school and BEST DECISION 🎀🩰
September 30 · Eileen LaraMy daughter is 8 years old and has Down syndrome as well as issues with impulsive control. I was terrified taking her to tutu school but went with my gut and enrolled her. The first couple of classes were hard for me because she wasn’t listening and disrupted the class. I called to talk to the owner to end her sessions because I didn’t think she would improve. They talked me out of it and placed her with a teacher who had experience in dealing with children with different behavioral challenges. Listening to them at tutu school was the best decision I’ve made in regards to my daughter and her social activities. They are always always always so patient with her and extremely understanding and receptive to any feedback. They worked with her and she was able to participate in her very first recital! I absolutely love this place and their staff! They are all truly amazing!
June 01 · Cook FamilyWe had my daughter’s birthday here and I usually have my kids birthdays at my house due to convenience and price. HOWEVER, it was so nice to just show up and know everything was taken care of. The favor bags, cupcakes, tables, crafts, music, tutus were all ready to go for guests to arrive!!!! I chose the Odette package and we brought our own snacks and only a little decor and I think that was fine!!! You can bring more food, drinks, decor and decorations if you want. They were super laid back in all the right areas but super professional party planners. Tutu Teacher Jenny and Aubrey took great care of the kids. We had kids ages 3-5.5 and some of the older kids were extra energetic/active and the teachers handled it with ease. Jenny even noticed my daughter was disappointed and asked her why. My daughter responded that she wanted to do the “real freeze dance” (the one she does at her school) and not the tutu school version that involved floor dots. So thinking on her toes, Jenny pivoted and had to improvise what “real freeze dance” meant and my daughter was really excited! It was a small thing but kids this age can be paticular and it made the birthday girl happy!!! Also, it’s worth mentioning that outsiders kept mistakenly coming in (they were at wrong location) and the tutu teachers handled it with grace without disrupting our party. The class portion of the party was really interactive, energetic and kept the kids engaged. This isn’t a “sleepy” ballet class, it’s very fun for them. I’ve done about 14 birthday parties and this one I got really good feedback from the parents. Some said it reignited their kids’ interest in ballet. I would definitely recommend this place to friends and family, thank you for a great party!!!!
May 05 · Tashia JaramilloMy 3 year old daughter has been enrolled at Tutu School Halcyon since she was 18 months and she is growing into a great little ballerina and has developed a love of dance, especially ballet! Tutu school is different than other studios in that the starting age is younger so you can get them involved in a mommy & me ballet focused class early. We also love that the parents can be involved until the dancers are around 3 then they transition the parents behind a half wall, still in the studio so we can see everything they are working on. We love the unlimited twirling during the summers and winter break when our schedules get crazy and it’s really easy to schedule a makeup class through the app. My daughter LOVES the Bravo Bash recitals that are twice a year and I love the pricing of the classes and recitals! Overall our experience has been wonderful at Tutu School and we look forward to many more years of dance here!
