What is Worth Choosing Rochester Gymnastics Academy
For Minnesota residents, choosing Rochester Gymnastics Academy means investing in a comprehensive athletic future. The single greatest reason to choose ROGA is the sheer breadth and depth of its training offerings. Unlike many smaller, single-focus studios, this center is a true 'Youth Sports' powerhouse, providing traditional Olympic-style gymnastics alongside cutting-edge movement arts like Parkour and Ninja training. This variety ensures that a child's natural curiosity and energy are channeled into positive physical development, whether they aspire to competitive glory or simply love to move.
The commitment to an Educational Program for all ages is a standout feature. The emphasis on proper technique and individualized instruction—where coaches are described as "so enthusiastic and great them by name"—highlights a personal touch that counters the impersonality of large facilities. While it is important for parents to be aware of and address any operational or staffing concerns, as noted in some feedback, the core value of high-quality instruction remains robust.
Ultimately, the Academy is worth choosing because it provides a Minnesota-based family with a single destination for developing fitness, confidence, and complex motor skills, from the toddler years through adulthood. The accessible location, state-of-the-art equipment (especially the Ninja rig), and diverse programming make Rochester Gymnastics Academy an essential resource for athletic training in the Rochester community.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1My kids have been taking regular classes and attended several of the summer camp programs for the last year. They throughly enjoy their time at ROGA. The coaches are so enthusiastic and great them by name. The coaches and staff work hard to ensure each kid receives the instruction they need to be successful and enjoy learning.
September 12 · Mary MorganI was not impressed at all with ROGA summer camp. My daughter didn’t enjoy herself either. She told me the staff were rude and she wasn’t able to build a connection with them. On the first day of summer camp I watched from the window and saw a group of teenage staff standing in a circle talking instead of watching the children. The front desk reception has concerning behavior, so I have no idea how she’s at a children’s environment at all. It left me questioning how carefully they choose their employees.
August 20 · JessMy son loved Camp ROGA this summer! The creative themes kept things fun and exciting all summer long, the staff was wonderful, and it was such a positive experience. We’ll definitely be back next year!
September 05 · Shalaya KippWe’ve been taking my 3 year old daughter here for a little over a year now. Love the classes, the instructors and the class structures. They are so patient and encouraging to the little ones my daughter looks forward to gymnastics every week!
July 07 · Vanessa ShanahanI didn’t feel welcomed at this establishment, and my daughter felt excluded as well. When we arrived for her trial class, I encountered a tall Caucasian woman with a ponytail who seemed unwelcoming and ignored me while I attempted to check my daughter in. I had to seek assistance from other staff members, but they didn't offer any help either. This has truly been one of the most uncomfortable experiences I’ve ever had, especially as a person of color. I would advise individuals who aren’t white to think twice before bringing their children here, as they may also feel out of place.
